Why are the Brits killing it with the Gamespot shows? C'mon, U.S. guys, these fellas have personality and aren't afraid to be in front of the camera. Most American Gamespot editors seem like they're uncomfortable every second they're on a show/feature. It's awkward. However, excellent little fluff piece.
@experience_fade @LeviHarris Not really seeing how that negates his personal impression, but okay. He's a gamer who's excited for the future of the games landscape. To hell with him.
He's not a fanboy, he's espousing his opinion in an editorial. He was there in the room during the presentation and he was impressed. Which is more than anyone writing their opinion in this space can say. Read the article, he criticizes Sony for their past practices. Fanboy means unfaltering viewpoint and blind optimism. Not someone who has experienced this firsthand and played the damn thing. Give him a break.
@GuPesci I'm pretty sure it'll be available at the launch of both next gen systems. The guy probably didn't want to out the Xbone release date, but the longer it takes to come out, the better polished it will be.
@CarlitosWay @LeviHarris @MysteryJ0ker That's what I'm hoping. Just being able to make your own character and class is a step in the right direction. As long as they don't pare down the RPG elements to appeal to a broader audience, I'll be happy. Unless they go a Dragon's Dogma route, then I'm completely okay with that because that game is a diamond in the rough.
@MysteryJ0ker @LeviHarris I'm really hoping it doesn't and it draws from Dragon Age Origins and not the cash-in trash that was Dragon Age 2. The sad thing is, the SW license will be in EA's hands for a while. Then it'll go to one of the other big 3 for them to mangle it in their distinct ways. Still, it's all speculative at this point.
