@CarlitosWay @LeviHarris I'm well aware of that, but don't play MMOs (too much time investment). Still doesn't mean I don't have faith in Bioware as a creator of rich sci-fi/fantasy storytelling. But without Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka, I'm not sure they still have it in them. Only time will tell.
Maybe Bioware can get their hands on the KOTOR license again and get back to making great games with compelling stories on par with their 90's-00's oeuvre. That being said, I'm still giddy for Battlefront with Frostbite 3. If they can pull it off properly making a purchase will be easier than shooting womp rats back home.
I feel like a real turd for writing this one off. I'm not even a big military shooter guy, but I have to give kudos where they're deserved. Looks pretty goddamn amazing.
@EasyComeEasyGo I sincerely hope that's the case. I don't want some kind of retraction of their word a month down the road so on the 15th I'm just looking at my new system and trying to jedi mind trick it into thinking I own watch dogs as well. Might burst a vessel.
@EasyComeEasyGo I was wondering about that. I've got the Amazon bundle and it says "Guaranteed" at launch. If Watch Dogs comes out the 19th and PS4 on the 15th, does that mean I get my system that's "Guaranteed" at launch five days later?
What does that mean for my Watch Dogs bundle. The game doesn't launch until the following week, so am I going to have to wait like an asshole or are they going to amend the Watch Dogs release?
While I have no doubt this game will be a hell of a lot of fun and look incredible, I'm worried that because it's being built with current gen consoles in mind if the physics and some of the particle effects are going to be pared down. I'm sure the engine is flexible, but since they've stated that it's going to be the "same experience" on current gen, that jerky animations and wonky AI will be prevalent.
