Does anyone know what happens to the existing MS Points we currently have? Are they translated to real-world currency or are they dumped? Supposedly there was an email sent out to folks explaining what happens, but I have yet to receive one.

If anything, this would hurt Microsoft, not help them. Looks like it's kind of an f-you to them for their initial used game policy. Now Gamestop gets to up their pre-owned inventory, of which Microsoft gets nary a penny, and shaft them with each Next-Gen game sale by only netting $9.99 per game.

It's funny how my joking comment at the outset has got you so steamed. So much so you resort to all caps. I'm guessing you're in your late teens/early 20's, middling republican, not libertarian, otherwise you'd be more upset about the NSA spying. You like your life, or so you say to everyone who suggests you get your shit together, but really, deep inside you're so sad and frustrated and you just don't know why. Might be that you're slightly overweight and bitter like the typical gamer, but after googling your username, this current of negativity pervades most of your comments in the GS forums. So I'm guessing you're just lonely and don't have a means to reach out to people, and the only real attention you get is from riling some feathers here. You're educated, but don't apply it in any real way so you need to write in all caps to get your point across. It's okay, it's going to be okay, buddy. I'm going to go **** my girlfriend now and return to being okay with who I am and living my life. Don't get angry. I know you won't listen to me though. Sigh.
