Yeah I realise that but just to see if it makes a difference, take the WRT out of the equasion to see if it works. If it does there may be some settings you can change on the WRT to make it work. If not then it is def an issue with the VoIP router.

Get on Ebay and get an official PSU unit for the area you are going to. You can get them fairly cheaply. That way there is nothing in between the power outlet and you Xbox to go wrong and cause possible problems in the future

I agree, it makes no sense. You get extra options via HDMI but not to the extent you can fine tune your resolution settings. You still only get 720p 1080i and 1080p settings. The extra options you get are for black settings etc. The options for "fine tuning resolutions" (for want of a better phrase), are found using a VGA cable. Back on topic though, HDMI is clearly the best option

I've looked around for answers and it seems it's a common problem with that VoIP Router. You may have to get a different one. Before you do though, what happens when you take out the WRT altogether and plug the xbox dirrectly into the second port on the SPA2102?

Try adding the WRT54G to the DMZ on the SPA2102, see if that cures it for now

I would contact xbox. If you can obtain a proof of purchase/winning from somewhere official, you could probably get a warranty. Plus I think all microsoft needs is your consoles S/N to know if your under warranty or not.

Flamecommando
^^This.^^ plus onthe back of the console is a manufacture date. If it is within 3 yrs of that you'll have no problem at all

PrePaid cards are region locked but you can get region free ones. I have seen them on amazon, ebay and a few websites in the UK. They are usually cheaper than the prepaid cards too if you get them online. If using Ebay though, only use a trusted power seller as there a lot of scams on there selling Xbox Live subscriptions

Swings and roundabouts mate. I've had my PS3 half the time of my 360 and it given me nothing but problems. Try the lense cleaner disk though as you'll probably find that will do it. Dust has a way of getting into everything especially electronic devices. The lense cleaner disks can be used on anything that plays DV's too. Such as DVD players and PS3's. They are handy to have to keep your equipment running well

Its hard to disagree with UT_Wrestler on that one. If you do get the hard copy make sure you get the lost chapters version as it has more in it
