Graphics are all that matter! Seriously, people need to grow beyond that train of thought. It's phemonenally immature.Not denying the greatness of Crysis, a 9.5 is indisputable, but to say that no other game in the next couple of years can possibly be better is just plain stupid.

Funny to see people flack to defend the PC and expansion packs. I'm not disputing it's the best gaming platform overall, just amused by the response some people have whenever is is compared to other systems.

On topic: Some expansion packs contain more than the originalgame, others do not add enough and might as well be patches. However, there needs to be a standard for counting scores and I agree that expansion packs should count as full game. The Burning Crusade is a sticky situation because its more content for an MMORPG, which receives new content patches every few months (Zul'Aman this week). So by the time the expansion comes out, the "original" game is not original anymore. Just pointing that out.

I keep forgetting about all the 2008 games Lemmings are hyping. I also forgot that Halo 3 and Mass Effect (which are obviously causing the TC to start this) have been announced for the PC.

By the way, Lost Odyseey does have guns, but it's going to be awesome regardless.

They complemented Lair's controls, gameplay, and basically everything else in this preview. The game got a 4.5. Previews mean nothing. Killzone 2 is going to suck.

I should've stopped reading when he said Mass Effect was linear. Or when he said that it uses recycled environments. Or when he said that the fact that it blurs backgrounds during conversation is a bad thing (it's called focus, Crysis does the same thing when you're changing the specs on your gun; OMG BAG GRAPHICS). Basically anyone who read the TC's thoughts is a little bit less intelligent, myself included.

It's astounding how many people in this thread don't know how to read. The TC never said that MGS1, 2, 3, 4, or any of its spinoffs copied Splinter Cell. He's saying that MGS4 is copying Splinter Cell. MGS4 is coming out AFTER Splinter Cell, therefore that part of his argument is correct. I won't give my opinion on either game since I don't like the genre, just correcting some of the foolish arguments that MGS came out before SC when that was not what the topic was saying.
