Happy you are including a category for VR! For 2020, I'd like to see more coverage of this area.

Fantastic show, been watching since the beginning. Glad that they are wrapping it up nicely versus some mid-season cancellation.

I just purchased an Oculus Quest headset and with the new Link upgrade I should be able to play this game. So yes I'm looking forwards to it. Glad to see it's a full game and not just a deluxe demo.

While I'm enjoying what I'm experiencing with VR, I don't believe it will replace gaming on my PC with a monitor. That still "works" very well for me. But I do like to mix things up. I wish they'd come up with a way to play this new game outside of VR so more could enjoy the next installment. Honestly, we have versions of games on various systems, consoles, handhelds, etc... I'd like to see that continue with VR games. (The opposite is true for new games coming along, add a VR component if you can.)

Looking forwards to the reviews come March 2020...

I hope they go with a standalone film in this announcement and not another trilogy. Save that for later... Just use a single film to try and get back on track.

@uninspiredcup: I just got a Quest, so I'd be happy to have a VR mode. But I like what you noted here. Maybe VR is an option for a different experience? But for those without the headsets, it would be playable still on a PC? I'd like the ability to choose my manner of play.

@duron2: Sorry for stating something obvious if you know it. But this month the Oculus Link will be coming. It will be a software update to your Quest, then a purchase of a new USB-C cable to connect from the Quest to your PC. Now your Quest is an Oculus Rift S. (Go to their site for actual details on this.)

At this point you can play PC driven VR games. Note, this is not out yet, but Oculus announced it at their dev conference a month or two ago. So I'm hoping that Valve will support all VR headsets. We'll see...

Thanks to the others on playing the original HL on a Quest. I just bought the Quest and would like to try this.

I'm sure Barak understood, there just isn't enough time to do it all... ;-)

I liked what you addressed in this video. In the past when I bought a game that had a possible duration of over 50 hours (RPGs) I felt, "wow, I'm getting my money's worth here!" But nowadays, I see those games, and they go on my list of, "wait for a sale, you will never finish a 50 hour RPG now."

So shorter tales do hold a stronger attraction for me, though good games many times will offer a longer journey for the completest and a shorter "hike" for those that avoid side quests and just go for the cheese at the end of the maze. So something for everyone.

Interesting that after you finished this shorter game, you started again! Some may think, "you started again, so you were fine with a longer adventure..." but I get it, it's different when you jump back into the pool knowing you can do one more lap since you know it's length. Like re-watching a 2 hour movie, but not wanting to start a 4 hour one.

For survival/sandbox games where I can define an end without the feeling of, I stopped too soon, I go in with a different attitude. Kerbal Space Program - 429 hours, Ark - 422, No Man's Sky - 160 hours, Subnautica - 115, etc...

Thanks for the viewpoint.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I found I already owned COH 2 on Steam, but I did not have all the DLC and it's on a good sales price. So just bought it. Note, I have yet to play this game. Lol. But I do have a system that is about 3 years old, so it should at least run on it. While all my friends with brand new systems enjoy playing the new Red Dead Redemption 2. I will enjoy some older classics...

When you post a video like this, can you please describe the specs of the system you played it on? Did you go with Rockstar's recommended specs or did you blow past it and run on a system with two GPUs in an SLI configuration...?

@lionheartssj1: I felt the same, great looking game. Since I'm interested in playing it on the PC I read that I'll have to wait for summer 2020. So I have some time. I have a few games to keep me busy till then...
