@lonewolf1044: This is why as a non-star I have to wait for sales to buy my games. Gosh, he gets to afford them new! ;-)

@santinegrete: I agree. I almost added that to my comment. That maybe he would need to slim down a bit. Though I know he worked hard to build up. Maybe if they gave him looser fitting clothes to hide his "ripped-ness?" Lol.

Love that he's a gamer and loves Half-Life? Nice. Okay, I know what I want now for next Christmas. With his star power, I think if he could just grow a beard again and be willing to play Gordon Freeman (we'll make sure he has dialogue) I could get a Half-Life movie!!! ;-)

Finished the series last night. Never read the books nor played the game (though I have it installed). I thought it was okay. I'd give the series a score of 6 or 7. I liked your stated opinions but it's obvious you two really know the source material. So it's okay to compare it a bit to to that. I think we all do that when we have the background.

I did not like the time-shifts in the show because I felt there was no big ah ha moment when I figured it out. Westworld had a big one with parallel stories set in different times but it was seamless (to me) and didn't lead to any confusion. The reveal really was a pleasant surprise and added to the story. But here, it just led to confusion at the start. Then me trying to mentally patch it together as I continued watching.

I'm glad there will be a second season. But I hope they fix it a bit and create a stronger overall story. Anyways, we'll see...

What did I just read? RPG = Role Playing Game. Yet your list contains non-RPG games, example Civilization VI. That is a strategy game!

Honestly, what the heck? Are non-gamers writing the articles now? How about letting us just search your reviews by score and genre and we can find this information our selves.

So, no nominations for network/boradcast television? While I expected this to occur eventually, honestly didn't expect them to be shutout so soon. I think there are a few that still rate consideration. (If I missed an entry, correct me...)

How did you create this list yet miss Microsoft Flight Simulator and Subnautica: Below Zero? Anyways... looks like another great year of gaming going forwards into 2020.

I really enjoyed season 1 but wanted to see where they could go from there. I like what I see in this new trailer. The season looks like it will be big! The ship on the alien ocean was a great visual. But of course the story is what matters. So excited for this. Can't wait till it posts.

I remember, oh so long ago, playing a strategic board game of Starship Troopers (yep, I'm that old.) This was before the movies and was based on the novel. So you had you the mobile infantry "parachuting" in from orbit. You had to find the bug's tunnels. Had the retrieval ships landing to evac the troops. Etc...

Hope this movie-based version works out and I'll watch for it. But would have loved a game based more on the books. Maybe something turn-based like XCOM. Anyways, I'll monitor and watch for the reviews. I've always enjoyed the Starship Troopers universe.

I'm surprised they risked the leak in letting a 6 and 11 year-old on the set. Impressed that her kids could keep the secret.
