@inferiorego: You make an interesting point on children's films. If I had a family I would not be taking a number of small children to the theaters as it would be bank-breaking night out. I'd wait for VOD or buying the film so it could be viewed endlessly.

But having said that, Universal did not state that their shift would be for those films only. They kept it too wide open. In the end the studios might just be destroying their own eco-system by further hurting the theaters and that leg of the distribution system.

Excellent show. As it's only half-hour in length and only 6 episodes, I binged the second season 2 nights ago. Well worth it if its style of humor/drama appeals to you.

Boy, if they can make the "base" look (with help from shaders of course) of Minecraft look this great, my mind might melt when I see what other games can do with this tech. Otherwise, Minecraft was a great demo game to pick to show this off. Beautiful!

I have an Oculus Quest and my PC has a I7-6700K CPU, 16GB of RAM, a GTX 1080 8GB GPU, and lastly I'm using the Oculus Link cable.

I'm only in 5 hours so far, but I'm not seeing any issues with the game. No crashes, frame rate seems good, never saw the jittery movement of your video, honestly no complaints. I'm sure if I could have some time with the higher end VR solutions I'd see what I'm missing. But the main point, I don't feel at this point that it's a struggle or barely playable. I'm enjoying the heck out of the game.

You are right though on catching objects. I'm getting better at it with the Quest paddles, but at the start I just chalked it up being an old and clumsy gamer. I learned to adjust and am doing pretty good now.

The game is a blast and really shows what how great a VR game can be. Hope Valve and others make more. Loving the platform. Still love my PC and monitor. But there is definitely room for VR games in my library.

If fears of COVID-19 were the actual reason for not moving forwards, why couldn't they just hold off. I'd be willing to wait a bit longer. Anyways, ratings were probably not there. Or if the virus was a real reason, maybe they thought the show would lost momentum if they waited an extra year for season 2?

You tease us in the title that there is a Steam release date and... nothing!? Why wouldn't you mention that in the article? Honestly this is really bad folks.

Anyways, I jumped over to Steam, it seems to be June 18th, 2020.

Gamespot, as that I'm now writing for you, I'm on the pay roll. I'd like my pay check to be direct deposited. Please send me the details on the benefits package. I assume medical, but does it also include dental and vision coverage?

Again, happy to be on-board. Never thought at my age I'd be joining a fun organization like you that focuses on my favorite hobby. Dream job! ;-)

Just binged this last night. I really enjoyed the show. (Watched it more like one long movie with chapters.) I caught some of the references you noted here, but thanks for the ones I missed.

@RaveNRolla: On my belief that the story was family-friendly, I was speaking more on this film versus the book. The film is rated PG.

I'm 61 and I agree with you on some of the "crazy shit" I've seen on screen nowadays. (Yep, I still get shocked at some of what is pulled in comedies, okay, raunchy comedies. I'm not a prude, but boy do some things momentarily pull me out of the story. "They really went there and did that?! Yikes...")
