I want to believe they're learning from this grand mistake, but I agree with the other commenters that it seems from the slide that they're just compounding their own problems by their new lack of development focus.

One thing they are for certain doing right, however, is switching from a Waterfall to Agile development process. Hopefully that will help them catch and correct mistakes earlier. Under the Waterfall model, so often you don't recognize major flaws until late into the development cycle, and by then management won't let you go back and fix them, because it would cost too much time and money, and they're so focused on just maintaining the schedule and getting the product out the door. Agile allows for a much quicker feedback loop.

@sh4d0w8r0k4r: Take your own advice. You write as if you're in kindergarten. I can't believe I actually made it through that last paragraph.

Kate McKinnon dropped out of The Dropout.

She just proved she was meant for the role.

Wow. Somehow GS managed to both completely spoil this scene but also completely miss what it was all about. Sure, they got the particulars right, but completely missed the context.

Also, I came here from another article that linked to this one with the link text of "what Jared Leto thought" (about this scene). This article contained none of that.

I've been waiting 10 years for Skyrim to come to GOG, and right now we're only 8 months and 3 days away from when that would traditionally happen. I really hope this acquisition doesn't change those plans.

I can't believe first-world governments haven't fully (or even partially) embraced PKI for their citizens yet. It would solve this problem (with certs being issued to humans only, or there could be a field that indicates whether the subject is human). It would secure online voting. It would solve so many problems.

And yet, we continue to live in the stone age of the internet.

How is this guy, or this threat, any different from the hundreds to thousands of violent threats others, especially women, receive every day, with little to no action taken? In other words, why was this guy sought and arrested, when the police could be going after thousands of these people each day? Maybe it's because he directed his threats at a corporation rather than specific individuals, showing that, in America, the government serves its corporations better than its people.

If I were her opponent, I'd ask for a drug test. She's definitely on the juice. Even got the 'roid rage face going.

Why not Castlevania III?! That was my favorite! They're already including the first two, so the third shouldn't have been difficult to secure. :-(

Otherwise, what timing! I'm moving soon and just today, before reading this story, decided it was time to get rid of my NES and games, since I haven't played them in over a decade and don't even have a TV that has RCA connections. Now I'm thinking I'll sell my originals and pick up this little fella.

As others have mentioned, I too would like to have seen TMNT and Battletoads on this system (as well as the aforementioned Castlevania III, of course). Then it would have been perfect.
