@Stogin @KamuiFei Funny, that's what I liked most about FFXII. It was like all the best parts of FFXI IMO.

@SirNormanislost @LowTechGeek @nate1222 Yes MGS4 is a PS3 game, but the PS3 that came in that bundle uses software emulation for PS2 bc. Trust me; I've been playing PS2 disc-based titles on it. Check Wikipedia for model CECHExx.

@Jyakotu I agree that FFXII should also be included, considering every other publisher is bundling all PS2 titles in a series together. Besides, IMO FFXII was a much better game than either FFX or X-2. After they finish with this, Squeenix will probably port FFIV for a 6th time.

@SirNormanislost @nate1222 Yes you can. I have the MGS4 bundle PS3 version which uses software emulation for PS2 bc. Dropping bc was a business, not a technological, decision by Sony to force people to buy more PS3 titles. During the first 2 years of the PS3 life cycle, too many people were using the PS3 just to watch movies and play PS2 and PS1 games in higher definition. PS3 titles weren't selling that well. So Sony made a business move to try to change that.

You know, I've been a console gamer all my life, barely getting into PC games. However, recently I've started playing older CRPGs like Neverwinter Nights, Diablo 2, and The Witcher (OMG The Witcher!) because current RPGs for consoles are crap. Being the story buff and completionist that I am, one thing that comforts me about PC games is the knowledge that any sequels to a game will also come out on PC. So although I will keep my seven consoles and two handhelds just to play all the games I like (ridiculous!), I really wish I could play them all on just one device.
