You know, if I sell my car to someone, and then they sell that same car to someone else, I don't get a kickback from that second sale, so I don't understand how EA or Sony thought they were entitled to such kickbacks in the first place. The only explanation is pure greed.
@Cypress131 @codeman101360 It should even be called just "The Old Testament." All fire and brimstone and retribution and shit. Massive armies, vengeful deities, dogs and cats living together. God, that'd be awesome.
@grokh @Shame-usBlackley No, we know. It's just that our Congress is now too powerful and too entrenched for the people to change. Our "representatives" are bought and sold before their first day in office. And if a Congressman decides to ACTUALLY go rouge and stop playing the game, they're ostracized and isolated, or flat out forced to resign.
@Cypress131 @LowTechGeek @fuzzier Not taxing the religion, just the book, as a book. Under the whole "violent media" criteria, I'm pretty certain every holy text I've read could be taxed, and I've studied a lot of different religions, Eastern and Western.
I'm a little surprised Sony hasn't released a stand alone system yet like they had for the PS1 & 2. And I agree with others: it'd have to be sub $150. I already have all the games I want for the system, but I'd like to replace my recently YLOD'd PS3 Fat with a superslim model that probably has a better chance of lasting longer with its lower heat signature. To be fair, the Fat did last 6 years, but then again, my PS2 has so far lasted 12, and still going strong.
