I'm actually hosting a lanfest this saturday for HALO 3/ HALO 2/ HALO and maybe some Gears.

I have 3 XBOX 360's (HALO 3 XBOX 360, XBOX 360 ELITE, and XBOX 360 Pro) and have 14 controllers total including the HALO 3 ones. I do host lanfests and stuff. If you want a picture of them just ask and i'll post.

Hm. I may have to recommend he buy a new one, then. Or ask his friend to lower the price. For an extra $100, he could get a brand new machine, a new 3 year warranty in his name, etc.

A new premium for him would be around $500-$600. He doesn't live in the U.S.A. where everything is cheap compared to others. Then again the dollar is worth jack sh!t right now.

1. Yeah for starters it is worth it. If you plan on buying a lot of games and downloading plenty of items off the marketplace then I would start saving up for the 120gb HDD. The 20gb fills up pretty fast if you have a lot of games and download tons of stuff.

2. The replacement is less likely to die, but that doesn't mean it won't die.

3. Not sure about whose name the warranty would be under and yes the warranty works atleast for the Red Rings of Light problem. It is secure for another 3 years.

4. TESIV: Oblivion, PGR 3 or PGR 4, Rainbow Six: Vegas, G.R.A.W. 2, Lost Planet, Forza Motorsport 2, Fifa 08, Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon, and plenty of others.

5. Wireless headset if you can. The clarity and qaulity is a lot better. Quick charge kit. That should be it.

You are correct, but you forgot a few things. The HALO 3 console also comes with an exclusive theme and gamer pics that cannot be downloaded from the marketplace. One of the gamer pics is the one I have in my sig. The controller also comes with a rechargeable battery pack and you get a plug & play kit. The thing that sucks is that the HDD is only 20 gb so I just took my ELITE HDD and opened it up and swapped it with the 20gb. So now I have a 120gb inside of the HALO 3 HDD case.
