Somehow I don't see EA stepping in to help. I'm sure Bioware could breathe new life into KOA but after the failure that was Dragon Age IDK......

After the debacle that is SWTOR I wouldn't want to see them do another MMO.

Most of this 38 Studios could have avoided if they had just stayed where they were and not taken the $75 million

Honestly....

I'd rather see a reboot to Onimusha or a Onimusha HD collection.....

Onimusha was one of the best franchises on PS2, I never touched RE until RE4 when they changed how it played and I only liked the first Devil May Cry......

I took a chance on the first Onimusha and it rocked.....the second and third games I picked up within the first week and the fourth I picked up day one.....

IDK, I'm just not a big fan of Devil May Cry or Dead Rising and I've only had a little exposure with RE but the only one I really got into was RE4......

Oh and here's another bit.....the only Capcom game this gen that I've really gotten into was Dark Void.......

I like games like this but......being forced to always be on the net just to play turns me off......Torchlight II is much more user friendly.....and not anti-consumer like everything Activision.....

I watched this because it had John Romero in it.....not really interested in Facebook games.......

IDK if I was going to go for Ghost Recon my first choice would be one of the older games if you could find any of them.......

Call up Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Rip Torn......we'll be needing their servioces come October lol

If TOR was a single player RPG it would have been as legendary as the original KOTOR.......sadly it's a single player MMO that nobody in their right mind should give a crap about.....

Honestly though after Dragon Age 1&2, ME3 and Bioware getting bought by EA I don't much care about their woes....sorry if I come off heartless but these latest games suck and the ending for ME3 is insulting, not just to players but to the entire trilogy...

As for Star Wars games the current gen games suck, You know that SW fighting game, Masters Of Teras Kasi?? that game beats the current crop of SW games and that game sucked hardcore......

Again if I come off too mean sorry but that's how I feel.....

Honestly I haven't likes Rockstar much this gen, I think people give them way too much credit for GTA. GTA is a good series but San Andreas wasn't as fun as GTA 3 or Vice City, the best part of GTASA was it's engine.....the story felt padded with too many things I had no interest in doing forced on me and GTA 4 and RDR were the same way. RDR, I love how they talked about historical accuracy yet if you studied history there was only a handful of American outlaws that ever ran to Mexico, chief among them was Butch Cassidy but he ran all the way to South America. Eh.....aside from my gripe this guy is probably right given how gaga people are for Rockstar.....

Cool, I didn't expect the strategy focused X-Com to ship before the shooter focused one.....I know what i'm getting in October lolz

I might grab this at some point when the price drops.....but I'm far more interested in the upcoming Rainbow 6: Patriots as far as military themed games go and I'm definitely looking forward to Far Cry 3 from Ubisoft......

This sounds like a solid review, I look at it like this I kinda want to know what i'm possibly getting into, everything Chris Waters brings up are potentially game breaking but given that the score is a 7.5 I'd say it's pretty standard......

@Minasodrom Well I was close with the review score, my point was just because you were or are a well liked, well respected studio doesn't mean you will pump out 9's and 10's with every game you develop. this deal sounds like Activision is setting Bungie up to fail. It took Bungie a long long time to make the first Halo but it wasn't until M$ stepped in that the game was completed.
