[QUOTE="chris3116"]It's you but I'll keep the N64 since there's no Rare games that will come to the virtual console. Libralesso

are you serious i thought i heard goldeneye was coming out for the Wii saw it on ign

Reggie said that they are trying work work things out so that the game can be released on VC, but there's no guarantee on that.

As far as selling off the old consoles, I say go for it.  I sold off all of mine (Dreamcast, Saturn, PS2, Xbox1, Snes Genesis) last summer and used the money for my Wii and DS games; haven't regretted it once.  I sold my SNES and Genesis games and made more money than it will cost me to rebuy all of those games on VC. Also playing them on Wii is a far easier and less cluttered way to play old games.

Logitech makes the best third party controllers.  Unfortuantly, they haven't made any for Nintendo consoles except for the Logitech Racing Wheel for GC.

I was hoping the controls would simulate golf a little better, but it definately looks like a sold game.  I might rent it this weekend.

I find it suspicious that he decided to apologise after the fans exploded and just before his presentation on animation.  No, I honestly don't think he was sincere with that apology.

I just got my wii today, and i have not looked the console over very well, but where do you plug in the CC and the GC controllers?evilmudbug

The CC plugs into the bottom of the Wii remote just like the Nunchuk.  The GC controllers plugs into the top of the Wii console itself--there's a door that you have to open first.  GC memory cards also plug in there too.

I personally like the VC controller because I play a lot of SNES games on it, and it's very similar to a SNES gamepad. That's the way I like it.hammer_of_thor_

I agree that the SNES controller was a great one.  My dispute with the Classic controller is mainly how it's connected to the Wii remote, by a long, annoying and clumsy cable.  It's also been 16 years since the SNES pad was created and I feel that the more ergonomic modern controllers have greatly improved upon its original design.

I don't mind the CC design... but if people want Xbox features so much, then they need to buy a (or play their own)360. Sorry, but I'm tired of hearing this stuff  "I want the online to be like Xbox Live!! I want the controllers to be like the Xbox's! I want Gears Of War graphics!!" If you want Xbox functionality go play your Xbox!decepticondevil

Jeesh, did you even read my post?  I never said anything about graphics, online, nor did I praise the 360 controller.  I used the 360 controller as an example of a modern, ergonomic controller with the same button configuration as Nintendo's Classic controller.  If you haven't noticed, the PS2, Xbox 1, 360, AND GC controllers are all similarly an ergonomically shaped.  I don't even own a Microsoft console.

I feel that Nintendo's Classic Controller is a barely acceptable solution to our VC needs. What I'd really like to see a good third party company (Logitech) or Nintendo make a far better Classic controller.  My idea is that it could be shaped similar to Microsofts 360 controller (and have the same button layout) except that the Wii remote would plug into the top kind of like IGN's early mock up pic below.  This would eliminate that awful cord that Nintendo has force upon us and give us a more ergonomic and comfortable controller.  I also don't think it would be any heavier than the current GC Wavebird/ 360 controllers either.  They could even make the controller work for GC games buy including a built-in radio wireless (just like the Wavebird's) and a module that plugs into the GC controller port (Wii remote uses built-in Bluetooth). Then all we would have to do is flip a switch between controlling Wii VC games, or GC games.  Basically one controller that could work with both VC and GC games.

This is just an illustration of how the Wii remote could plug into the controller. I want a controller that has the same button configuration and d-pad as the SNES/360 controllers.

Seems like every week another analyist comes up with a different outcome. I need a job as an analysit so that I too can make up stuff and get paid for it.
