I completely agree. Scanning was the most annoying thing implemented into modern Metroid games. The classics didn't have that feature, so why do new games have it? It's stupid, IMO.
Man, that really makes me wish arcades were still popular here in the U.S. The game uses a steering wheel, I can imagine it would translate well to Wii by tillting the controller like in Excite Truck. I hope Nintendo and Namco release these on Wii soon, and with online play!
