SSX Blur is a good game, but it doesn't even come close to the brilliance of SSX 3.

Difficulty.  I want the Zelda games to be challenging, and the last couple have been absolute cake walks.  When I pay my hard earned dollar for a game, I expect it to be fun and challenging.  Zelda TP was fun, but seriously lacked in the difficulty department which made me lose interest in the game before I ever came close to finishing it.

I loved the graphics, but absolutely hate the controls. They are sloppy, imprecise and annoying (tilt remote backward to go back? WTH!). I especially hate "shaking the controller to attack-boost"; just use a freaking button! At least Tony Hawk DJ gave us the option on that. I also hated the godawful music in that game; it's easily the worst music of all the Sonic games. I have a lot of hate now for this game, and this was a game I've been looking forward to since last years E3. BTW, I rented the game last weekend, so at least I'm not out $50 for this junk. Oh, and I liked Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast, so this isn't a 2D > 3D argument here.

I'm a HUGE Sonic fan, and I own all of the 2D Sonic games which I still play quite often.  The Sonic adventure games were okay at best, but let me tell you this, I rented Sonic Secret Rings last weekend and it sucks big time.  I absolutely hated playing that game!  Worst controls for a Sonic game ever.  Seriously, do not buy it without at least renting it first.

I've rented or bought most of the currently available Wii titles and I've been pretty disappointed with most of them.  In fact, the only Wii games I still play is Wii Sports and Metal Slug Anthology (which I play using a GC controller).  If it wasn't for Virtual Console games, I'd be pretty upset right now.  The only games I'm still looking forward to is Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, and maybe Tiger Woods Golf.

That being said, I'm sure Wii titles will get better as more developers come to grips with designing games for the Wii controller.  I remember the DS was in a similar funk during it's first six months, but it has since pulled off some truely fantastic games since.

[QUOTE="MLJ28"]Wii 2.0 = DVD playback and it's only announced for Japan. It isn't worth waiting, IMO. Besides even if Nintendo does release a new Wii in other territories, all of the games will still play on the old Wii, so I'd get it fixed asap.tobenator
I heard that it's rumored to have more memory and other goodies. And in Red!

I don't know about these "other goodies" besides DVD playback, but you can tripple Wii's memory just by buying a $40 1 Gig SD card right now. So, I really don't see the incentive to wait, unless a red Wii is really that important to you.

Honestly I don't see the point in converting a SNES controller considering the classic controller is nearly identical to the SNES one.hammer_of_thor_

Classic has a similar button layout as the SNES controller, but it isn't nearly as confortable, IMO.  This mod mostly is for old-school gamers who simply prefer to play their games with the original controllers.  This mod certainly isn't for everyone.
