I own a Zotac 9800GTX+, while it is said that 9800GTX+ would run cooler than the 9800GTX, I still found that my one has very high temperature. 45 - 48 Celsius (IDLE) and will reach 80 Celsius when under load. Besides I did not do any overclock, so will it due to defected card?
I had installed the latest driver for my brother's desktop (forceware 181.22). I don't think the resolution number is a misleading... I had tried the monitor on my own desktop with a 9800GTX+, it has the option of 1920x1080 and works perfectly, that's why I find it very weird why it don't work on my brother's 9600GT... Besides, I am using the DVI cable.
I just bought a samsung sync master 2233sw for my brother's desktop. The lcd support 1920x1080 but the options of the resolution properties only shows until 1680x1050 max. The vga is asus en9600GT which I think it shouldn't have any problem supporting 1920x1080, so I hope someone could help me with this problem. Thanks

Yes.. i am really lack of money to get a high end pc and intel's processor and board are far more expensive than AMD's. I am just an average gamer that will be satisfy with around 30fps in games :D. I am planning to get Athlon 64 x2 5600+ or 6000+, it might be just crap if compare to the intel's E8400 and E8500 but most likely they are better than my old rig's Pentium D 915, right? I am planning to get the geforce 9800GTX though.
I gave my old rig to my brother and now I am plannig to build a AMD rig which is also my first time buying AMD. I want to know which AMD processor is good for gaming. What is the difference of some black box edition AMD processors with others? Do nvidia cards run well on AMD based chipsets?
I just setup a HTPC with a 42 inch Sony full HD LCD TV and everythings works all right until I tried to play some games... The games load up but there is no cursor!! However when in window mode, the cursor will appear and will disappear again when changing back to full screen mode.
Do anyone know how to fix this problem, I can't find any solutions from browsing around in webs? So any help will be much appreciated :D. I am running Windows vista 32bit with: Asus P5QL-SE Mobo C2Q Q8200 2.33Ghz 2gb ddr2 ram Zotac 9800GTX+
