Well that proves my point that i still havn't seen a single game have more online players at the same time than Black Ops on the 360. You can't trick me into believing that picture means SC2 has 1.5 million players online. Battlenet is made up of a number of games and will include numbers from WoW aswell :)

[QUOTE="SamiRDuran"][QUOTE="MacDee23"]I've never seen a single game have more players online at the same time than Black OPS on the XBox 360. Nearly 2 million players online at the same time when it was launched and anywhere between 500,000 and 1.2 million when i go online. Not one Steam game comes close to that. The Xbox 360 and PS3 have over 40 million gamers. I am reluctant to believe that there are nearly half as many PC gamers that can play modern day games.

sc2 surpasses it and it came out 6 months ago. furthermore black ops will die sooner or later when the next cod comes out but sc2 will keep pulling more than 1m concurrent users for years. not to mention WoW which blows anything on consoles out of the water.

Black Ops has a user base of around 9 million i believe on the 360 alone. I am talking players online at the same time. Are you saying SC2 has over 1 million players online at the same time? edit - I have played WoW for over 4 years btw, and been in a top World 16th guild as well as help build a World top 60 guild and been in a few more World top 100 guilds. The graphics in WoW do not blow console games out the water, and as far as the gameplay goes, that is simply a subjective opinion.

In fact the only "modern day" game that could come close is WoW and that has 12 million subscribers. But it is not really a game that exaclty looks great graphically wise is it.

Crysis is like 4 years old. Lots of games beat it graphically now if you ask me.

Consoles will always have a larger market than the PC and thus will always be more appealing to a developer. PC's also costs alot more money and lasts alot less longer. Look at a game like Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (or any cross-platform game for that matter). 5 year old console technology runs the game better than 2 year old PC technology. Try playing a new game on a 5 year old PC and see how far that gets you. Play it on a 5 year old console however and you are guaranteed it to look great (not far behind top end PC's in fact) and to run perfect. To get a new game running as smooth on a PC as a console plays it requires you to spend 5 times more money on your hardware. Only when you spend more than 5 times the amount on a PC will you even begin to start playing games better than console versions. Then one year down the road, your PC hardware flops and you have to upgrade again, while the console still works perfectly. Games like Crysis 2 make me happy, i'll tell you why. It is good for the PC that consoles are holding a game like this back graphically wise. It means that more PC users will be able to play it. More PC users playing this game = more games will be developed for the PC (that will also work on less capable PC's). Consoles holding PC's back could be the best thing to ever happen for PC gaming.

Well imo it is repetitive and boring and i traded it in after only owning it for 2 weeks. I'll explain why i think it isn't all that it is cracked up to be - It is basically GTA 4 but - ...not as many guns and explosions ...not as many cars (only get horse or horse and carriage) ...not as many buildings ...not as much interesting stuff to do between missions. for example you can't steal cars, but you can pick flowers. It is a well made game, and the graphics are great, but imo it is flawed in the fact that there simply isn't as much to do in the wild west as there is in a big city. You basically ride around open country, doing..................not alot. One thing i did find great was the co-op mode where you have to enter a mine and steal gold, or all work together to rescue the damsel in distress. I also didn't find the story at all interesting either. It is about as good as a Wild West game gets, but meh, just.........too..........BORING ! :)

GTA 4 - A massively long single player campaign with a great story and lots to do BioShock - A great story, great gameplay, lots of things to see, do and you get the feeling you want to complete it to see who is really behind all the mayhem Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops - Pretty Epic combination of action / story (i preferred the story in MW2, but the multiplayer is better in BOPS) Orange Box - Never played it on Xbox 360, i completed it on PC, and this is a great franchise with decent story The most underated storyline that no one talks about though imo is Darksiders. If you like Gears of War (both games use the same game engine), but with swords and rpg like upgrades, but with mostly a beat em up style, with a few puzzles thrown in, then this game will keep you engrossed to the very end. The story isn't just epic, it is legendary. Halo : Reach is pretty dam good too. Must admit, Assasins Creed is OK, but it doesn't fall into the epic category if you ask me. Uhm, can't really think of many other games atm. edit - I have never tried Alan Wake, but my friend is playing it all the time atm, he says it is great. Try that one too.

I'll probably stop gaming altogether if all games were made like this. I enjoy sitting down and using my controller (or keyboard/mouse on pc) so much that i doubt i would ever buy kinect.
