This is getting to be hilarious. Not a single review posted by the Reviews editor since March 25. None. Nada. That new look for TV.com program must be taking up a lot of the staff's time. I hear they even went into work on Jenna Jameson Day this year. Not that the program itself worked when they ran it. We all know that would be too much to ask for. I've also got over 100 submissions pending many from last week. That's the first time that's happened in quite a while. So what does all this tell us? That they spend almost all their time working on something which won't work when it's launched to the neglect of everything else. Looks like the staff might have to forget their Arbor Day vacations this year. For the uninformed, Arbor Day is when they celebrate the ships pulling into the 'arbor. Maybe giving up a holiday or a weekend might help straighten things out. Or maybe not.

I took over the guide for The Manhunter, a Quinn Martin series from the 1970's, from my buddy Crazyrhythm who had retired. Found one site on the web that had synopses for about half of the episodes. Don't know how in the world I'm going to be able to find out the rest. The guide might have to stand as is which is very incomplete. In other news, I noticed that they haven't posted any Reviews in the Reviews section since March 25. Perhaps they've just given up or maybe they are looking for another Reviews editor. My suggestion is to give the job to The Huntsman since he enjoys reviewing so much.

I'm finding it easier to move up in Level 51 than I did at Level 50. I estimated that it took approximately 40 submissions to advance up one percentage point when I was at Level 50. Here, the bar appears to be lower. I had around 110 submissions approved yesterday and jumped 5%. It's the second 5% jump I've had in Level 51. I think I had somewhere around 120 submissions approved for my first jump. Going by the rate I had calculated for Level 50 it would have taken me approximately 200 approved submissions in one day to jump that much. I didn't have nearly that many on either 5% jump. Strange. Very strange.

Things are getting frustrating around here. My submissions wouldn't post. Nine months and they STILL can't get the bugs out of this site. The staff is either completely incompetent or the laziest bunch of jagwads who ever existed. I lean towards that latter myself. I mean any group that takes time off for Marilyn Chambers Day in San Francisco isn't exactly busting their humps. No, I'm not getting ready to run off to TV Rage either. I'd rather endure a bad case of the crabs than go over there. Mostly a bunch of immature teeny weenies who think Angel, Buffy, and Saved by the Bell are fine examples of classic television. Who needs them? I just wish they would finally get things running smoothly on this site.

Just how dumb is the Reviews editor anyway? Somebody writes a parody review on an actor named Gary Erwin who only has two credits to his name and the dumb editor puts it in the featured person reviews section. This review, which called Erwin an all-time great, was an obvious parody yet the editor couldn't figure it out. Kenny Johnson and Peter Kay, whoever the hell they are, are all-time greats too. Hells bells. P.S. Kudos to insaner99 who wrote the review on Gary Erwin. Though not very long, it was good satire. It also bounced way over the editor's head.

After two months and two days, I finally made Level 51. In the immortal words of Harry Dannigan, "I'm somebody in this town now." Just wish the staff would get around to processing my submissions for Woody Hayes, Mary Crosby, William Faulkner, Marilyn Chambers, and Rex Reed. P.S. If you don't know who Harry Dannigan is, check out an episode of The Untouchables entitled The Troubleshooter. He's somebody all right.

Now someone named Laura Bailey and critic Roger Ebert are all-time greats. They just keep coming down the pike. On the bright side, I actually found something outstanding for once in the Reviews section. If you want to know how to write a good review read the review on Richard Dean Anderson written written by bigorangefrog. Regardless of whether you agree with his/her conclusions about Anderson this is how a review should be written. I only wish 90% of the reviews I've written were this good. Kudos to you, Mr. (or is it Ms.?) Frog.

Looks like Carolina and Kentucky fell victim yesterday to the Curse of Frank Nitti. Pitt too. Except for Duke, all the turds are out of the NCAA basketball punch bowl. In other news, I picked up Jenna "Finish the Drill" Jameson from Happy Yellow Ball who retired as editor of the guide. I'll probably pick up V. I. Lenin from him as well after he gets through moderating my submissions. Lenin and Jenna. I must be one sick puppy.

Took over the editorships for George Foreman, Vladimir Nabokov, and Bela Lugosi this week. It seems as though Happy Yellow Ball and xxGowronxx have both decided that their time would be better spent over at that other sight and I took over the preceeding guides from them. The staff doesn't seem to be doing much on submissions the past few days as I've got outstanding submissions for three people--Mary Crosby, Marilyn Chambers, and William Faulkner--that haven't been touched. And yes, I know it's a wide stretch from Faulkner to Marilyn Chambers although Marilyn in her younger days might have made a good Temple Drake. Anyway, I wrote two reviews today. One on an episode of Banacek and another on the lovely and talented Nicole Richie. Gotta do some more reviews as I've only written four since the New Year. I was hoping I'd be able to move up to Level 51 by March 19 but it looks like I might not get there. If anyone can tell me what great historical event happened on that day I'll send them a cookie. I promise.

Now it's Holly Marie Combs, Hunter Mackenzie Austin, and John Winn. Yes, that's right. Three more all-time greats. Never heard of the last two. Ms. Combs is one of the stars of that classic show Charmed. Hells bells, if an all-time great DID ever appear on that show it would mean an automatic loss of all-time great status. In other news, I picked up my 100th people editorship. It was either Monica Seles or Robert Newton. Technically, I guess it was Newton because his submissions got approved first by the staff. I'm now at Level 50 (90)% in case anyone's wondering. Closer and closer to the rarefied air of Level 51. Once you hit that level you know you're somebody around here.
