The hilarious thing about all this...

Cows and lemmings have said that wiimote is not innovative just different. Now with seemingly EVERYONE having issues with this game, one has to wonder why. Is it because it is on Wii? Is the PS2 version gonna get this much attention for its brutality? Nope. And here is why. The wiimote DRAWS PEOPLE INTO THE GAMING EXPERIENCE MORE.

And all the people who have major concerns over Manhunt 2 for Wii have basically admitted this....they are worried that the game (being basically a murder simulator) will affect people MORE on Wii than PS2. This in itself is admittance that Wii gaming draws in people more to the gaming experience, is it not? Saying that the Wii version is more violent because of the controls is admittance the controls are not only different on Wii, but that motion sensing in gaming grabs people's attention more. Think about it...It is admittance that Wii is better for gaming experiences.

Never thought I'd say this, but I agree with avidgamer...whoa...that didn't feel as dirty as I thought it would a few months ago. Anyway totally agree, I think golf sucks...but played Wii Golf for like an hr today...5 minutes in I was saying...jeez golf sucks..before I knew it an hr had passed and I was under par! The remote changes things but its not gonna draw you in unless your interested.

About the movies, how come no one is complaining about HOSTEL PART II?

Its kinda weird, cuz movies do it more frequenty. I can't count how many times I've seen a blade go through someones head. Even in pirates of the c'bean 3

Davey kills the guy by shoving tenticles into his brain through his nose and ears and more of it is shown than necessary but its just accepted as part of the movie landscape.

The gaming industry needs to reach the level of creative freedom that the other mass media delivery methods have.

I'm a huge fan of GTR2 and I love Race: WTCC. In terms of visuals and realism for those that have played Race on a decent system and played Forza 2. Is Forza on par with Race? I know Race got 8.8 and Forza got 9.2 but one is a PC game and one is a 360 game so the scale is a little different and so are the expectations. GT is called a racing sim but I'd hardly put it in the same category as Race, thats my opinion tho so take the statment with a pinch of salt.

To be honest, most of the alarmism concerning the Wii seems to be coming from the HD camps. Wii supporters are generally of the opinion that it is a good thing for the industry at large, albeit not so much so for opposing platform holders.

yup, you'll find the odd nut job that attacks the other consoles but the wii supporters seem mostly defensive and generally enthusiastic.

The 'threat' talk, I think, stems from the sales debacle. People see console A outselling console B from as many as 8-1 and as little as 2-1 and they began to ask why is one selling so well and not the other? From there people can come to unbiased rational conclusions or freak out and start to troll.

IMO, I think it really gets to fanboys that they can't point and laugh at the little guy.

SSBB will sell well...but not as well as Halo 3. MP2 is one of the worst selling Metroid games in Nintendo history....

Take a look...MP2 sold the worst outta all the Metroids on the million seller list. Metroid Prime is the best selling of the bunch. What does this mean? It means that from Metroid Prime to MP2, that the series lost A LOT OF FANBOYS. This is not good. In addition, many sheep HATED MP2 but loved MP. They didn't like the dark world aspect, lame multiplayer, etc. This does not bode well for MP3. MP3 may not even sell a million. The franchise is losing appeal fast.

Hang on a tick, game quality isn't directly related to sales and MP3's marketing push could make all the difference especially if the wifi logo is on the case.

Seriously, why argue with someone who is proud of stealing and has said they have nothing better to do with their life than bash companies that have nothing to do with him in favour of a company that cares nothing about him. God forbid he pick up a book and read so he can learn to speak proper english or spend some time learning something useful from the internet.

The issue I have with the VC is storage, when new DLC hits what will be the size cap? Will a 4GB Card be adequate or will they have a uber expensive external drive. I really hope if/when they bring a USB HDD solution it is a 3.5" drive I don't care how cute the smaller drives are, 3.5" HDDs are the way to go.

Gotta agree, anyone could go dig through the rubbish bin and post info about games no one cares about to prove a point. The PS2 was the guiltiest last gen but it wasn't a bad thing...apparently.

Yeah, they're going for a slightly more grown up look instead of the chibi characters shown last time. I think Square saw the success of the Wii in Japan and then thought, "Well crap, we better put some actual effort into this one..."

lol, totally agree. The graphics are blindingly good but its showing that devs can do better and will hopefully raise the bar.

Don't get ahead of yourself. They're not "blindingly good", but they are good.
