Surprised nobody pointed it out, but the people that first 'created' it were Black Isle Studios, the developers. Interplay killed the group off in the early 2000s, and the people from there largely went to Obsidian.[QUOTE="Majd_Abdulqadir"]If anyone could do Fallout justice, it's the guys who first created it (Interplay).Makari
edit: and yes, that means Fallout: NV was created by the closest thing we have to the 'guys who created it' :)
Really? That's new to me. Well, I like Black Isle's games too (PlaneScape:Torment, Icewind Dale, etc) but something was lost in the transition between Fallout and Fallout 3, maybe a new lead designer or a different team makeup. It's just not as fun as the originals. If this means no Fallout MMO, then I'm happy.dangamitWhy? Bethesda's version of Fallout was truly, truly horrible. If anyone could do Fallout justice, it's the guys who first created it (Interplay). If Interplay really care about their product they should switch to an indie tactic and get the community involved as much as possible to keep this alive, heck they could even try to get more funding through kickstarter style projects. If they go the 3DRealms (Cocky, arrogant, "keeping it all under wraps" until nobody even cares anymore) way, they'll lose for sure.

Whats so great about MW3? it looks just like MW2 probably plays the same too. It's just another cut and paste version of Call of Duty 4

Fixed it for ya.
No I did. If it's anything like COD4 then it's a must buy! :DBut OT, it looks to be with larger scale set pieces in general. Some on-rails air/ground missions too. (That Hind looks like a nice boss battle).

From the poll results so far it becomes evident that the PC forums are largely not plagued by fanboyism. Most of us are interested in the game and would like to see some more of it. Both COD and BF are shaping up to epic titles.
All in all, this november looks to be a great time for gaming and FPS in particular, so cheers to that :D
- **** A.I.? CheckedOndovalWhere do you "see" AI in the video? You have to play it to see how it fairs. Here's my check list, locales so far: - Manhattan? Check. - Hamburg/Berlin? Check. - Paris? Check. - Prague? Check. (From the Kotaku articles ) -Somalia, India, Washington? Check yeah! Where does BF3 take place? Iranian/Iraqi border... hmm... okay...
Why is everyone expecting a new engine?
Engines don't make gameplay better, it's the game designers that make it good.
From what I've seen so far it looks to be another epic adventure with great set pieces, plus the different environments are always welcome. That's what MW single player is all about, awesome thrill-ride missions set in all kinds of global landmarks.
