So far I spent 32 hours with Skyrim, and no matter what nostalgic thoughts anyone has of previous iterations, this is by far the best one yet.

I'll put it this way, if you let a person who never played any ES game before try all the games from 1 to 5, s/he will most likely choose Skyrim as the best of the lot. The rest is just nostalgia clouding our judgment.

This is getting tedious, they are both great games, each with its own pros and cons.

But if one must "contribute" to the fan war, I'll say this:

A year from now, most gamers in this discussion will still be praising the incredible graphics and sound of BF3. It will be hailed as one of the best games to come out in 2011. They will talk and reminisce, but they will do so while playing another match of MW3 Domination.

Could be one of the earlier Elder Scrolls, before Morrowind.

From my experience with the beta only, I have to say Battlefield 3 deserves a 10/10, it is a masterpiece. Origin on the other hand deserves 5/10 or even less, it's a disaster.

Mash up these two scores together and the average result isn't too good for both DICE and EA.

I can run Crysis, Crysis 2, any COD title, Just Cause 2, Dead Island. Played Battlefield 3 beta on it too. These are pretty high tier titles.

I just got the GTA complete pack, and IV is doing me lots of trouble. It basically runs without any textures in the game (everything is transparent).

I checked on "Can You Run It" before getting the games and these were the results:

In the game's graphics options I get 225/58 in memory, everything is set to lowest, and of course there's the big warning that the memeory required exceeds what is available.

Any help?

10 million? Within a little more than a month? For an unknown indie title?

These guys seem to have very little business sense. Even AAA titles have a hard time selling 10 million copies!

Also, those guys who preordered are losing the bet, so they'll be asked to pay full price come payday.

It's worth 50$ and even 60$ like some of the "AAA" titles are being sold for lately. It's simply the most unique FPS game I've played in a long time, putting alot of emphasis on melee combat and looting. It's also very realistic in its approach to interaction with enemies, you get knocked off and kicked to the ground, if you jump off a roof you crack your bones and die. Hitting enemies' limbs with sharp weapons can cut them off, blunt weapons cripple limbs, and there's nothing more satisfying than the sound of a baseball bat landing on somebody's skull.

This game is awesome. Buy it.

Are you referring to 1NSANE (with a "one" at the start)?

That was one of the best off-road racers ever made, best physics ever.

If the sequel is anything like it, it's going to be awesome.

[edit] Just read a bit more about the game, it's not made by any of the original developers, neither Invictus nor Codemasters, so I doubt it'll be as good as teh first game. Too bad...
