[QUOTE="Majd_Abdulqadir"]

Speaking of visual enhancments, anyone know how to remove the annoying change in lighting when moving from a dark scene to a bright scene or vice versa?

Example: If you looks at a light source and then quickly look somewhere else, the entire screen turns dark and then slowly bright again, apparently to simulate the eyes' adjustment to light.

It's something that's been bothering me for long and there seems to be no solution to it.

Try this

Funilly enough sharpshooter's is exactly the way I described in my first post.

Better get used to that look. Intense post-processing at the expense of clarity will reign next-gen. It makes stuff more realistic.

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for.

[QUOTE="DanielDust"]If it's about trusting software on your PC, I have bad news, Steam gathers more information from your PC than Origin. You don't agree/disagree to have Steam monitoring your entire PC (games, hardware, network and 3rd party applications that are in no way related to games), you only agree/disagree to make "some" of them public. It was and still is, just hypocrisy and denial (Origin wouldn't be popular ever because I don't use it for anything but games I'm forced to which is exactly...Steam).Zlychop
Exactly, its funny how people think Steam exist for the greater good of gamers and fail to realize the other aspects of it Valve doesn't want people knowing.

But your initial argument was, let me quote:

"Origin >> Steam"

Are we still comparing these two? Or has the discussion moved on to a different topic (The pros/cons of digital distribution)?

Stay on topic: which of those two (Origin, Steam) is the LESSER EVIL? Please answer :)

[QUOTE="Majd_Abdulqadir"] Also, Steam is crappy because it lets you keep your games library forever ( even if you don't play it at all ), but on the other hand Origin revokes your game license after a year if you don't play it, because they realize you don't want to play that particular game anyway and they're actually doing you a favor. DanielDust

I am smart.....everyone else be stupid

Is that what you're saying? because what you just wrote here is nonsense.

1) They do not revoke anything, ever. (it was in the TOS since EADM was created, never happened)
2) They "might" remove your account if in 2 years you don't, ever, use your EA account, be it on one of their forums or just logging in on Origin once. (it is in their TOS, never happened yet and just like before, it might never happen - it's just their way of "your account can and will be disabled at any time" that Steam uses)

I have a hard time believing a gamer wouldn't ever use the account of one of the important digital platforms even once in 2 years

...but ...but ...I just said Steam was crappy... Anyway, you said with your own words it's in their TOS, so it's in their TOS, and not just for looks. What reason does a company have to take away the game I bought with my money? ever? What sane reason is there to delete a license of a game I potentially didn't play for a year? Have you never had a classic game you enjoyed and played 10 years ago , then suddenly decided to take it out of the closet (or: Digital Games Library) where you put it 10 years ago, and play it now? Do you suggest that one should go through her/his games library, play all games for a few seconds every year just to make sure they don't get deleted? Now that's dumb.

OP is a genius... Steam is crap...

I mean, really, who wants to buy games at a discount anyway?

Why would I buy the ENTIRE GTA franchise (from GTA1 to GTAIV Stories) for 10$?

Why should I buy Company of Heroes with all expansions for 10$? Who the heck wants to play Just Cause 2 for 7$, or Borderlands GOTY edition for 12$?

Who in his right mind would buy a complete catalogue of a company for 20% of the price?

Who wants that crap when you can play The Sims???

Also, Steam is crappy because it lets you keep your games library forever ( even if you don't play it at all ), but on the other hand Origin revokes your game license after a year if you don't play it, because they realize you don't want to play that particular game anyway and they're actually doing you a favor.

Yeah, Steam is crap...

With all the COD bashing around here one would think it's actually worse than Crysis 2.

Crysis 1 was a step forward in terms of gameplay and a huge step forward in graphics. It was both fun and great to look at, and it had some open space gameplay in the first 2/3 of the game.

Crysis 2 was just bad, failing to even give the slightest positive hit feedback when facing enemies, and the art style was a blunder.

Crysis 3 seems to be taking another step backwards in terms of gameplay and graphics. From the demo I saw it looks and plays worse than Crysis 2.

Blackops 2 on the other looks like ALOT of fun, and that's what games should be about anyway.

Any plans on showing Company of Heroes 2 in action? Is it playable on the show floor anywhere?

no idea who you are so your not a "fellow pc gamer" your also only have this post to your name FINALLY who in their right minbd would make a petition for a PoS game that got a 7.5 as a review score??

sSubZerOo
Eh alot of the problems are technical issues tha can be fixed so I hear.. I don't see why people would be against having more games on to our platform.. Especialy something like Dragon's Dogma.. The PC platform and really gaming in general isn't exactly overflowing with open worldish rpg's compared to something like shooters and wha tnot..

My point exactly. I mean what's so wrong about having as many games as possible on our favorite platform (PC). It's not like anyone is forcing anyone to play these games. And about the score, well let them port it and then I'll decide if it's good for me or not, and not a 7.5 score for a console version. (Which is not bad anyway). Bottom line: The more the merrier!

Wow, just wow! 7.5 score is considered a PoS these days? On topic: I support this petition and hope Dragon's Dogma comes to PC (along with as many other platform games as possible; more choices for us PC gamers to enjoy).
