I know it has been hashed over before but I feel strongly at this moment partly to complain as well as ask for help. This is in regard to Soldier of Fortune: Payback. So many were looking forward to the game based on the reputation of the earlier game. Sadly it was thrown into the "Value" arena and came out poorly done in some areas. Specifically aiming one's weapon. I found that I would waste ammo shooting at the enemy if I aimed carefully and eventually hit them if I shot wildly. The character is supposed to be this one-man-army and so it follows he hits what he is aiming at. Who needs sights if they don't help to deliver a kill? Anyway, you folks may wonder why I play the game at all. I paid for it and now I want my money's worth. You may also wonder why I am still playing it when it came out quite a while back. The answer is that I got so frustrated with the game after buying it some time back that I quit playing it. Lately I have decided to bite the bullet and play the bloody thing....Now to the help question....is there a fix for this aiming problem? Multitudes of people must have screamed about this by now. Any information about a possible fix would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How do I throw the knife in multiplayer? Is it a perk? Do I have to earn the right to throw it? I got killed by someone with a knife thrown into me. I don't have that option yet. Please help.

You haven't played COD: Modern Warfare 2. It is definitely worth the money in single player or multiplayer. They poured their hearts into the making of this one.

The price is the same in the beginning. A year from now it may lessen. Steam or retail. Go on the web and look.

Guess what. I bought the retail and when I installed it the game went directly to Steam. I had Steam and I don't know what it would have done if I didn't.The point is if you have Steam it will godirectly to it. There is no choice in that case.

Eeeek! I didn't know it was that old a game. I will definitely skip the game then. Thanks to everyone for setting me straight on that one.

I recently downloaded the COD: WAW Mania map pack. When I go to install it I find a bunch of individual maps and am told to put them in a file that does not exist. I should create it. Ok. I can do that. Why, I guess,is the question. Almost 99% of what I download and install is already set up to install. Has anyone done this and would you please tell me how it went and how to do it? Thanks. I have little convidence and without direction will just dump the files rather than cause my computer to have problems.
