When you read the last link about how powerful the PS3 is, this will show you why the PS3 was expensive, it lasts longer in its lifecycle which is why I said 'PlayStation is not ready for next-gen'. PS3 will suffice for more years to come thanks to the power and Blu-ray.

Fanboyism is utterly retarded. Gears of war 3 is on par with uncharted 2 and 3. Halo 4 is on par with gow 3. The new forza looks better than any other racing game on the PS3.

Yea MFDOOM still hasn't updated his OP in that other thread.

Digital Foundry discovered that while the Wii U lack some small assets here and there, it looked better than the 360/PS3 versions and even had some FXAA which were never in the 360/PS3 versions.

This is likely due to just having more RAM than the HD Twins (I would think but I'm not expert)

People still ignore how bad early Xbox ports to 360 looked and expect developers to use all of that extra power on day one and when you think that you're giving third parties WAY too much credit.

They will be lazy and cost effective. Why else would Gun, King Kong, and other 360 launch ports look so bad despite the 360 being 10 times as powerful as the Xbox on paper? (Ok I don't know it if it is really 10 times but you get my point)

But everyone wants to make a verdict right now at this moment off on the Wii U and that is just silly because had we done so during 360/PS3's launch we would have never dreamed of how good Gears 3, Halo 4, Last of Us, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2 would have looked. But apparently this rational thinking just can't possibly apply to Nintendo and these early ports have to be the be all end all of the hardware.

People forget that if they had another year to develop the game on 360/ps3 it would look better then it does now on those systems. I do not see how this is a big deal.

There has never been a generation like this where the next gen system looks worse then current gen, NEVER. Kameo PDZ and UC1 blow away games that are coming out7 YEARS after and on NEW HARDWARE

Game is great in my opinion, not sure I would trust VGCHARTZ, game sold 380,000 in its first month in the us alone, according to sony and ndp, doubt it would only sell 60,000 in 4 months

This is idiotic to ocmpare with amazon. I and tons of other pc owners buy off amazon since I can redeem games on steam origin and blizzard right away. Why would any Console owner buy off amazon if they have retail shops close buy? Many of those are Pc downloads not actual retail boxes. If you go to Best buy, futureshop (canada) ebgames/gamestop they will have minimal pc sales.
