What he says is true, no pc game looks a gen ahead, not any I've played atleast. I doubt any of you can argue different

All those people would still be rocking their 1024x768 monitors too.[QUOTE="elektrixx"]

Please stop trolling, it is way to obvious. All the people playing BF3 on their 4-5 year old systems are laughing at your statement. The GTX 280 runs BF3 just fine.

Get real. I would find it an unacceptable experience. Again, may as well play on a console if you can't take advantage of the PC's improved features.
My 275gtx played bf3 at 1680x1050 at a mix of settings consoles cant acheive for multiplayer just fine, troll.
Too badhttp://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/battlefield-3-graphics-performance,3063-3.html42 fps in SP which is less demanding then MP and dx10. My point isnt that old cards are bad its that you can't max them like the above poster said.http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/battlefield-3-graphics-performance,3063-12.html32 fps is not playable. Would be in the 25s in MP[QUOTE="Maneil99"]

[QUOTE="elektrixx"]PC gaming. To take advantage of the benefits of PC gaming requires a yearly upgrade of some sort.sailor232
It's a yearly upgrade only if you buy the bare minimum cheap parts. The ati 6950 was released in 2010, and a single 6950 still runs current games at max.
Get a CPU and motherboard with the features you need, and you're set for 3 years minimum - most likely the entire current console generation.
Exactly, plus cheap Steam deals on games, makes pc gaming cheaper in the long run.
You forget that Consoles can trade games in, buy used games and get games on sale aswell...I could buy mw3 for 40 bucks , sell it for 30 then buy another game. I can also rent games.
[QUOTE="Maneil99"]
I like to play at minimum of high settings with 60 fps. keep in mind I made a decent amount of money back from selling my old parts.
