What Uncharted looks like in reality...... I.E... It looks nothing like the bullshots :roll:Too bad the crysis pic you picked is modded and can not be played at a stable framerate there for who gives a **** about graphics if you cant play it ? :OIn reality the game is nothing but a fest of jaggies and blurry texture filtering, the aliasing is god awful, texture while look 'decent' at certain angles completely lack depth when looked at from any angle ( Top 2 picture show this ) Ground textures are completely flat and lack any real depth again as the game has no displacement mapping, complete lack of anything even resembling a decent polygon count. Now lets look at a 'promo' shot
The aliasing is now all gone and the game has texture filtering running, but now you can see the flaws more clearly, I highlighted just how flat the textures are in reality and if you look at the brick wall to the right you can clearly see what I'm talking about. The polygon count on the enemies head is a complete joke. Polygon count in general is still very poor, lighting and showing is extremely basic and there's no screen space ambient occlusion to be found any were. And yet these games are being put up against PC? Are you consolites on crack? This on the other hand IS a generation a head..... This is no bullshot, no touched up Photoshop trickery.. all genuinely captured live from PC..

[QUOTE="killzowned24"]lol at the hermits. you would be a fool to say consoles don't look half as good when 99% of their games are console ports!Stalkerfieldsis
All those console ports still look alot better. You are a fail incarnate.
Please do not spread **** As a pc owner and a console owner I know for a fact most mutiplats do not look better then the best console games.thats because u're probably a jelly sony moron fanboy that hasn't touch a halo game ever.[QUOTE="Tessellation"][QUOTE="Pikachu69er"]
How does this look any different from any other halo game..
GOGOGOGURT

I don't believe rage has Splitscreen. I'd reccomend the LBP 2 special edition that includes 35 dollars worth of dlc. Also all lbp1 dlc and items carry over. I'd strongly reccomend Starhawk aswell. Resistance 3 and Killzone 3 both have singleplayer CoOp and resistance 3 allows for Online Split Screen aswell. Uncharted 3 allows both online and Co Op. Haze is cheap and is a blast to play ocal online with bots (has bad rep but for 5-10$ Its a blast to play) Motorstorm games are good aswell (not MS1 it does not have SS) Mw3 and Black Ops have SS . Rainbow 6 vegas 2 is a blast to play terrorist hunt. Twisted Metal is another strong reccomendation its SO fun in SS. Thats all for now but I'm sure there is more.

I didn't mean to say it was difficult, just compared to XBL where all you have to do is turn the controller on while pressing a button on the console is much easier than the way Sony did it. I'm not hating on Sony. I'm a fan of all of the big three. But I recognize when one is done better than the other. Just like how in my opinion the way to get online is much easier than getting online and playing with friends on a Nintendo system.

If you are being asked to login with a 2nd profile that is a GOOD thing which means the developer is likely allowing the stats and saves to be saved for both users at the same time. It is really up to the game though, it's not "how Sony did it" or "how Microsoft did it" - it's up to the developer to put it in their game on a particular system. Games that don't ask you for a 2nd login, means they just went the lazy route of not even tracking stats or achievements for the 2nd user. But like I said it's not difficult at all, it literally takes 30 seconds to iniitally setup and then the 2nd player just click the appropriate profile when you start a co-op game.
For example, Black Ops 2 lets you co-op without a 2nd profile, but on PS3 the 2nd user's stats aren't saved (because there is no 2nd profile to save it too). SO this is a NEGATIVE on the PS3 version of the game for those that care about such things.
However Portal 2 allows (maybe requires) the co-op parter to login with a 2nd PSN ID. Furthermore they can even login to a steam account through the PS3. So not only can they get concurrent PSN saves, but also their steam achievements will be recorded as they play as the 2nd user on the PS3.
I bought the multiplayer only portion of Killzone 3 having getting rid of my hard copy with the single player on it. My friend and I are trying to get split screen up but there is no option or anything allowing us too. At the XMB bar it won't allow boy of our user profiles to be active at the same time. I'm sorry but I am a dummy when it comes to how to get this to work. The only games I got that I think have split screen are Uncharted 2, Socom 4, Resistance 3, Killzone 3 and Starhawk. So can you walk me through how to get the splitscreen to work for those games?
Out of those games the only ones with splitscreen are Starhawk, Resistance 3 and Killzone 3 singleplayer. Starhawk you must go into the home screen (not XMB the games home screen.) and press split screen. Resistance 3 I believe the 2nd player presses startThese guys have no dea what they are talking about and are being elitist pricks. Considering all the things you get I'd make an offer for 1,100. These guys don't realize you are getting a good mouse, keyboard, and monitor. Building this computer new would cost around 800 + KB Monitor and mouse would be around 1600 with tax
How is this a good idea? Now in the middle of a firefight I have to look down to seem my ammo and health? Great !
big keplar might not come out at all according to Tomshardware rumors. There would be no place in the market for a 700$ gpu and since there 680s/670s are selling so well they don;t need it
[QUOTE="Maneil99"]Wrong, just checked halo reach, it was hitting 45,000 , tossed in uncharted 3 and it have 121,000. Even killzone 3 has 39,000 and Starhawk is c urrently at 96,000.[QUOTE="mems_1224"]then you would be wrong. I bet you anything that halo reach still has a bigger community than any ps3 exclusive. Why does cod sell more on 360? Why does pretty much any multiplayer multiplat sell more on 360?mems_1224
If you wanna check the stats yourself go onto their respective websites and check (killzone 3 only has amount played in 24 hours which I divided by 2)
Also can't link to sites because they have agegates.
false, halo has 75484 players online right nowThanks for the update, my number was lower probrably because it was quite early.
