The first card listed actually only has 256mb of video memory, while the one you already have has 512mb. It's still possible to sli, but doing so would cause the video memory of your card to be underclocked to 256mb. It's not worth it.

Yes, your psu will be fine. HDDs use very little power compared to the other parts of your computer.

Nah, it's not really worth it. Stick with your 800mhz ram. 1066mhz ram is usually just 800mhz ram overclocked.

Yeah, for an AMD based computer, and only a 9800gt in it, that's pretty overpriced.

Are you running xp or vista? If vista, I would also get another 2gb of ram. Like others have said, your cpu is fine if you oc it a little. As for the graphics card, I'd recommend something like a 4850x2.

The 1gb version is a little cheaper, and should still work fine with the 24", just depends on how much you wanna spend.

This is nice if you're on a budget.

Bump up the speed of the fan. They're usually at like 20% default.

How much are you looking to spend on a graphics card? Also, if you want to save a little cash on the cooler, you could get this

I think he meant how does he find out what gpu and cpu has. Go to your start menu, go to run, and type in "dxdiag" without the quotations and run it. Your cpu will be displayed in the main system tab, and your gpu will be in the display tab.

I haven't decided whether to crossfire or not?

Instead I might buy a new Graphics Card in two years time( If the CPU doesn't bottleneck that).

MY Budget for the card is 140$ at most.

btw Do all Cards with 2 PCIx16 Slots support SLI and Crossfire

azurueus

For socket775 boards, only Nvidia chipsets support SLI. x38, x48, and p45 boards support only Crossfire. If you just going to use one card I'd say just get a p43 or p45 board. The boards you listed earlier are all fine.
