Absolutely. Even on low settings, it still looks pretty good.

Most laptop video cards are directly connected to the mobo, so changing the video card would be pretty rough. But just adding ram, you probably won't see much of a difference. Your video card and cpu are really holding you back from Warhammer.

I put it on a new machine, and it works perfectly. I did have to first install Vista because the cd my mobo came with wouldn't work with 7 for some reason, and I couldn't download it because the driver for the ethernet port was on that cd. But after that little hiccup, 7's been working perfectly.

[QUOTE="adamosmaki"]Is a very good card (about same performance as 8800gt ). At that res no way you can play crysis at very high(to play crysis at very high at that res you need at least a 4870 and even that will barely manage it) but you will be able to play it at high with 1-2 settings at medium or all high at 1440x900. Imo is a great card for that pricelundy86_4

Errrmm... I play at 1920X1200 with a 4870 at all very high with 2x or 4xaa and get around 25-30 frames, more in smaller areas. So nope... wrong

Might be because you have the 1gb version.

You can find the Antec 300 cheaper some places, it's $39 before shipping at provantage.com, and $56.99 including free shipping at buy.com.

I do quite want vista though as it has directx10 support. My current OS is the very first 32-bit version of XP, and I doubt I'd be able to find the CD. But Windows 7 you say? Where, when, how do I get it and how long does it last? Is it free? Are there any known compatibility issues with it?

Windows 7 has Dx10 support as well, it's basically a beefed up version of Vista that runs better in most cases. They're only offering the beta for a short while, so if you're thinking about it, download it now just in case. Once you have it downloaded and installed, the beta lasts til August. It's completely free, and it is a beta, so there might be some problems, but since it's pretty much the same architecture as Vista, you shouldn't run into too many compatibility issues. I have it on one computer, and so far, I haven't ran into one problem.

Download the beta here...

I believe this is it.

That's not really much of a gaming pc, it's more of a media center. If you bought a different graphics card with it, it should run most games pretty nicely. But that'd be around $1500 total to get it running games well. If you're interested in playing games, you can get a better gaming computer for a lot cheaper if you built it yourself. Let us know if this might tickle your fancy, and give us a budget and we can recommend some good parts.
