@The-Neon-Seal @Pyrosa That mode is meant for co-op, playing solo is extremely difficult (still not impossible though). Also, using slag + elemental weapons are an absolute must to accomplish anything in UVHM. It just takes more strategy is all.

@SpicaAntares @McDog3 Never did I say they couldn't, nor is anyone "too stupid". Please don't be putting words into others mouths. Steam has grown alot since 2003, for others to compete would mean to give all of that plus more to customers. I'm sure they could make the investment, financially.

It would be highly unlikely they would come together to create a Steam-like service, which means the marketplace would become even more fragmented between services, which would simply be ugly and non-friendly to the customers. Plus, Activsion and Ubisoft would need to be willing to create the infrastructure for such a thing, which is not an easy nor cheap task.

Steam may be overtaken at some point, but I would say it would be by some new kind of method that we cannot even foresee yet.

This was still a PR disaster. Back-pedaling on these issues only a week later isn't going to do them as much good as they think it does.
