@rarson I don't usually argue the "open source community", since the default response from iOS users' is something along the lines of, "that is beta software". In all reality, if you add the community, Apple can't compete.

@rarson @TheIfym20 Android is very open source. I can download the source code right now, modify it, and share it with the community. Explain to me how that isn't open source?

@TheBlackEclipse For sure. Apple has the marketing down to a science. I offered my sister in law my old Galaxy S 2 for nearly half the price of an iPod touch 8GB and she didn't want it. I even told her that she'll have her phone and iPod in one device, and won't have to carry 2. Her response? I want an iPod because that is what my friend has, and it can do more. She has seen my phone, and she knows the features the iPod lacks in comparison, but for some reason, she is convinced that the iPod is better.

@thechuck11 The hardware is awesome, the software is where Apple is lacking now. They may have started this revolution of new smart phones, but they are doing a lousy job of keeping up with the market. They are getting features that have been in Android since Gingerbread (nearly 2 years!)

@alkaline_DnB So you're telling me that a phone that just barely got a quad-core processor, LTE, and a larger screen is ahead of a product that has had that technology for nearly a year? I don't even want to get into the software. The Apple app-store may be able to claim more software, but honestly, the popular apps are available on both Apple and Android.

In reality, Apple makes a great device, but I think it's a stretch to say that Android is playing catchup in any category.

@alkaline_DnB My issue isn't with what Apple offers, but the price they offer it at. As much as I like the design of Apple products, I refuse to pay the price. My laptop with Windows 7 cost less than half of what a Macbook Pro costs, and it has the same hardware specs. If apple were to lower their profit margin, then I'd gladly purchase a Macbook pro, but until that happens, I cannot justify spending a large sum of money on something that can be purchased for much less.

Sad, KoA is an amazing title. Here is to hoping that someone can snag the IP and generate a sequel!

@MOwens9512 I think if this were to happen, we'll see an early announcement for the next xbox console. Microsoft put too much time, money, and effort getting this far in the console wars.

@thedudeman1027 So because I refuse to pay $50/month for internet means I don't have the money to buy a $60 game? Do you not see the flawed logic? Don't get me wrong, I will always have internet feeding into my home, but to say that someone who can't afford internet shouldn't be paying for a game is ignorant, it's all about priorities, and guess what, they might not be the same as yours. Maybe when your parents stop giving you a free ride you'll understand what I mean.
