@rarson I'm with you on the Fair and Reasonable comment (and everything else). In this situation, there should be no room for interpretation. Fair and reasonable should be, "we feel that we could have sold this tech to you for X per console. This is what you owe us". Obviously it isn't going to be the price of the console, that is just hippie talk. After that negotiations start, Microsoft would be at a slight disadvantage because they don't want to pull consoles off the shelves and redesign, but at the same time, they have the advantage that they could, because Motorola is only going to be compensated for what hasn't sold yet. Either way, it's a big mess that doesn't really need to be a big mess. Wish both parties would just drop their lawsuits and say, "we're even".

@rarson Probably for the best, unless you have an electoral vote, it doesn't really count anyway...Especially in my state, I already know where my vote is going, whether I vote or not.

@rarson Just read the article. Very good reporting (actually gave useful information). After reading it, it almost sounds like Motorola filed this suit to get Microsoft to drop theirs. Honestly, both claims seem legit, maybe the best solution is to say, "hey, we're even." and move on.

@rarson Fair enough, it sounds like Motorola is willing to deal, but they want an exorbitant fee. Maybe the judge should think about what is "fair" and have Microsoft pay it...if they fail to do so, then ban the console...The first reaction shouldn't be to ban.

@rarson Funny that you mentioned the "two people" possibility. We just discussed this (last semester) in my business law class. I was honestly thinking, "what if this is that type of situation". It sucks that you can have a great idea at the same time as another person (or even before) but because you didn't have the cash for a patent attorney, or didn't get to the office before the other person, you lose out on making your idea a reality. In short, patent law needs to change. Maybe one of the comments above (or below, I don't remember) is right, we should follow china's rules, if it isn't exactly the same, there is not infringement.

@RE4GreatesGame Ok, so order a monetary settlement and require Microsoft to give a public apology. This is starting to sound like that Ford issue that happened back in the 60's (not sure on the date). Watch the movie, "flash of genius".

@Sgthombre Maybe, what if I were purchasing millions of dollars worth of merchandise? Before you reply, note that I agree with you and that was an attempt at sarcasm (I'm not very good at it). Although I see dragon_65's point, it isn't quite the same thing.

@rarson haha, that was the best comment I've read so far...Seriously, a video game console decision is what gets your deciding vote. These are the youth that will make our country's decisions one day...So ashamed to be part of them.

This game looks good, and I, for one, plan on giving it a try.

@tizmond I personally give MW3 a 5-6 out of 10. I played it for a week and sold it, quite honestly, the worst game I've played in a while. Now tell me about these games that are superior, I'd like to try them out if I haven't already!
