@SpicaAntares @McGregor I agree. And on top of that, there is a huge library of games for the 360 and ps3 right now. I'm willing to bet the majority of us haven't played them all.

@JTheUntouchable I agreed until you got to the "20 inch screen" part. I actually play better on a small screen, but to each their own of course.

@evildead6789 I wouldn't consider that system mediocre. Mine is nearly the same but with an 8350 AMD 8-core processor and 1600 mhz ram. Every game I've tried gives me at least 30fps on ultra at 1080p. If I lower it to "high" settings, I get about 55 fps. I guarantee the detail and draw distance on those resolutions are better than the PS4/xb1.

On top of that, you can crossfire another card in there (and even go to a 7900 series if you want) and get the benefit of dual video cards! The other bonus is that you've updated your primary video card in the process. CPU power isn't nearly as important as GPU for most games, so that portion is still good to go. My system even outperforms my friend's system that has a core-i7, but a weaker graphics card, thus proving (to me at least) that the cpu isn't as critical today as it was, say, a decade ago.

I'm not convinced 1080p makes you a better gamer. More precise is true, but a better gamer? Anyway, I've been playing at 1080p for a while, so I guess my precision skills are already leveled up!

Wow, I couldn't believe how much sharper the PC looked. I thought it would at least be close. PS3/360, identical, a couple of areas where one looked better than the other. I'm pretty sure they are 100% identical, with a point of view making it look like a graphical difference.

I'm not disappointed in the PS4, I know it's early in the life cycle and the game was designed for a ps3/360 experience (which is probably why 720p upconverted to 1080 won't look that much different), but it really didn't look much better than the ps3. Then again, I remember saying this exact same thing about the 360 when it first came out (that it wasn't better than the xbox).

This is a good comparison, and I'm glad to know that titles like this will be played on PC for myself.

I actually get the point made by comparing Batman to CoD. I rarely start my CoD experience with the single player campaign. I jump straight into multiplayer, since that will be my deciding factor on whether I keep the game or not. I was done jumping on gargoyles by the end of the first Batman game, I didn't even make it through the 2nd one.

@TommyT456 @NoHyperbolePlz I've done that exact same thing...usually 2 or 3 times a day. By the end of my comment I'm thinking, "wait, why am I mad, and what do I win again?"

If the Steam Machine controller really does play that well, it might actually be successful.

So, from those that have played it; should I sell my copy of Black Ops 2 to get this? Or just quit CoD altogether?

They don't force you to buy it. Maybe you should demand a demo of it before a purchase. Like let me play 1 hour of multiplayer and 1 hour of campaign, then I can decide.
