If it helps any it's an evga 680I mobo.
I am taking a guess here that the pwr3 cable I need is the one from the graphics card itself. I now see how I need to set up the pci-e 6pin cords.
I am going to plug in the 8800gtx, and I think I am being stupid because from the looks of it I think the "3 cords" that came straight into my psu is that so if there was a 4 pin instead of the 8 pin on the cpu, that I could switch between the cords. I looked through my power supply bag and found pci-e cables but it seems to be only 6 pins and I need a 4 pin to connect to it. Do I need to like plug in the video card first and maybe there will be it's own cable in that box?
I just read up and yes, the 2 cords from the psu were both for the cpu (incase it was 4pin or 8pin). So, now I need to figure out what kind of cord I am going to need for the pwr3 auxiliary power for graphics part.

If that helps any it's a link to show all the cords that came with my psu.
I started putting it together and have the mobo screwed in, psu screwed in, cpu on, heatsink on, ram on. Now I am starting the process of plugging it all in and having some problems.
The corsair 620w psu had the 3 cords, one was the 24 pin for the mobo, one is for the cpu and the last one I guess is for the graphics card. I plugged in the 24 pin and the cpu one, but now I can't figure out how to install the last one for the pwr3 gpu part.
The pins themselves are lined up as x x x x and the cord that I have all the connectors are in a square xx then 2 underneath them. I don't know if it's possible for me to pull them apart, and even if I did I wouldn't know which to which prong since it doesn't seem to label the actual connectors.
Also, I just want to ask. I looked into the mobo manual and it says under "parts not included" that their is no microprocessor fan. Is that supposed to be considered the heatsink fan for the cpu or a seperate fan that I need to get. I am guessing that it was meant to be the cpu fan/heatsink just worded a bit differently. But since I am a noob I figured might as well ask and make sure.
Edit...
I got this ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820220144Â and I read reviews saying that it starts out at I guess 5-5-5-12 instead of the 4-4-4-12 that it states. I know theirs an nvidia tool that can make me change stuff once I eventually get the os and all the software on the computer easier than in bios for a noob like me. So should I just let the ram run however it wants for the bios and installing, then change it with that tool to the appropriate timings and voltage? Or should I do it right as I get in the bios if it's not that hard.
Oh and to add on I did spend the 5 dollars for the anti static strap. I have done stuff like replace ram and read just about everything I could, including the case and mobo manuals. Also watched videos on how to build a computer so I have done a lot of homework.
Darn, i'm not legal to drink yet or I definitely would do that.
My shipment finally came, and now I am working on clearing out a good work space. Then going to dust and vacuum and make it all clean. Finally I will start putting together my computer tomorrow morning.
Just asking for any last words of advice, comments, criticism for me being a noob and worrying.
