I went to a movie today and being in a wheelchair I have to sit in a specific part of the theatre. To my surprise, a woman and her husband came in with a baby stroller, and every time a loud part came up in the movie, for the next two or three minutes all I'd hear is this loud screech coming from the baby carriage. All I could think is 'What kind of Mother does this..?". I honestly wanted to go to the Manager, but I didn't want to miss the Movie. Some people pay anywhere from $10 - $40.00 to see a single Movie by themselves or with Family, and they don't want to have it ruined because you were too lazy or impatient to hire a babysitter for your screaming banshee. If you can afford a movie, you can afford a Babysitter. If you don't have enough time to get a Babysitter, wait another day or two. The movie isn't going anywhere.

Does anyone else get pissed off when someone brings their infant into a movie theatre?

No, all these Get Rich Quick schemes going around on the Internet, or get a free PS3/360/MP3 Player etc.

Okay before I get started, I just want to say that I am in no way Advertising or Endorsing the link below in any way, shape, or form. I'm just using it as an Example.

http://marshall.surfmoney.com/

Why do people advertise stuff like this? Get free Money for doing Surveys, get a free PS3 if you sign up to one of the following offers... Even Facebook is starting to do it. They attract your attention with something you want to hear and then make you become a Fan to apparently "Find out the Answer" which doesn't exist. They send you through loops and loops of pages and signups, then bring you to a dead end. What is the point of it..? Heck, I gotoSurftheChannel or something watch a TV Show Online (Because Networks won't allow me to watch theirshows in Canada) and I'm bombarded with Popups like this.

Using that above link (AS AN EXAMPLE), What is the website owner trying to accomplish when some poor schmoke visits his website? Am I to assume the Author is flat broke and he's advertising this "Get Rich Quick" scheme to make his audience ASSUME he's rich, and make money off of people like that..? Or is something else going on here?

So aside from that, what are the most annoying scams some of you have come across? (Or has anyone else here been scammed by stuff like this in their life..?)

Seriously, Conan O'Brien has been with NBC since what, 1985? And NBC wants to throw that relationship away over some money issues? Pfft. I just didn't like NBC because of their habits for cancelling my favorite shows, but now they're just greedy

One of my Friends passed away recently, it was a little tough getting passed it, but I think I'm ready to move on now. The only thing that still bothers me is when I look at his Profile on Facebook, or when I look at his Tribute Page on Facebook, It just hits me like a ton of bricks, like, "Wow, did this really happen?"

What I'd like to know though is, How come when someone passes away, if I see something that reminds me of them, I get this sense that I'm like the only person in the world. I feel really alone...

[QUOTE="PannicAtack"]Eh. Smoking apparently gives pleasure. Can't argue with the chemical reactions. Nor can I argue with the *other* chemical reactions. That said, bus driver is ignorant, and I don't smoke. The end.

It wasnt the bus driver

I was listening to a conversation on the Bus from a Guy who believes Cigarettes don't kill you. I nearly choked a chuckle, I didn't want to offend him. Why do people believe that Cigarettes are harmless, and why do people start smoking anyways?

My room doesn't cancel out ANY of the outside noise. It's 9 in the Morning and I'm not used to waking up until 11. Despite that, I couldn't sleep last night, so I didn't actually fall asleep at a convenient hour. Some early bird dick outside decided to start his chainsaw at 8 in the Morning, waking up the entire neighbourhood. Can't call the Police on that because 8 in the Morning is technically not a "Noise Disturbance", but GEEZ, Some people need to think about their neighbours when doing things like this...Not everyone in the neighbourhood is an early bird. I've had this happen to me a long time ago too when I was living in a different neighbourhood, except it started at 7AM, instead of 8AM. I'm glad I don't live there anymore.
