Jade Empire (soon out for PC, so if you have a good PC, buy the PC version), Kotor 1 and 2, Halo, Halo 2. That's really all I can think of, unless you like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance-type games. Then get Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. I love the Fallout Series.
When I pull late nighters to finish an essay (usually just involves writing the thing; most research is done at that point) I usually end up with a B+. If I take a little bit of time, I usually get a better mark than that.
