I don't really feel that a price cut would necessarily be branding the Wii U as an "Unwanted Console" to consumers. The 3DS struggled when it launched as well. Nintendo cut the price of that system by $80 and it completely turned the system around.

Now that we've seen both Sony and Microsoft's Console reveals and some of the comparisons of the software that's coming, I'm under the impression that this next generation is going to be getting off to a really slow start.

While these "stills" look good, how about showing us an in-game comparison with both games running side by side? I rather see something like that.

I thought in my original post I was outlining my thoughts about what I feel is going on with the system and comparing it's launch versus the original Wii.

Yeah I took a little jab at trolls. It's right up there, and I stand by it. It's just how I feel. Trolls shouldn't be disruptive when others are trying to discuss. Do you feel differently?

@racerxgundam Uh, I'm not justifying my purchase. I don't need to do that here. That WOULD make me a Fanboy then. Read my original post again. It's all right there, as clear as it gets.

Just my views on what I think is happening with the system, and a small call out to trolls. Specifically the ones who spam articles like these so that people like you and I cannot engage in a healthy discussion like this.

Or are you seeing something else?

@DemiGenius24 Well if it's a question of relevance, ask yourself this: Where do you think the industry would be right now without Nintendo for those past 17 years?

Let's pretend for a second that Nintendo died with the N64. Do you really think we'd be where we are at right now? Because I'm not so sure.

Me? A Fanboy? No. Chances are, for the most part, I'm playing (and liking) the same consoles/games you are.

And for the record, I am not a fanboy, I have just about every single console ever released from 1976 to present day (minus a Vectrex, an Atari XE and a few others that I am still hunting for). My PS3 is less than 10 feet away and I play it every night after work and enjoy it as much as I do my Wii U and any of my other consoles.

When I'm not enjoying my consoles or one of it's games, I express my dissatisfaction as well. It's just not in the form of trolling. :)
