It is only important because without a game disc (that you no longer own now) in a physical store for $60 then they can't justify charging you $60 for a Digital copy that you don't own either since "ownership is morphing."
Make sure you click the HERE button for more information link at the bottom of the FAQ family plan that takes you to this page. I meant to link this page but MS makes it hard to find indeed.
Here are the links and here are the important parts but if you read everything it explains how the master account works and how the secondary account are limited Gold accounts.
"Just like today, a family member can play your copy of Forza Motorsport at a friend’s house. You can always play your games, and any one of your family members can be playing from your shared library at a given time."
Here is from how it works today with a Family plan.
"Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack utilizes unified billing, the primary Family Pack member has the option to purchase Microsoft points and give them to other Family Pack members, who can use them to buy movies, shows, games and more on Xbox LIVE." and "Secondary members cannot add a credit or debit card to their Xbox LIVE account.
@osegura @weslag You two better reread the MS post about how this works. The 10 family members must all be on one Xbox like the current Family plan with one master account and 9 secondary accounts. If one of those 10 people goes over to another persons house, or you have a second xbox, then yes they can stream the game and play if with you, however only you (the master account holder) and one other secondary member can do it at a time. Also the other nine accounts being secondary can not purchase any games or content, that is unless you as the master account, put money into their gamer profile for them to do so.
@QuadThumbs @deathknightleo @MinerAvatar A game I will be getting day one, and soon I'll be able to try out Demon Souls, I forgot about that game and it being on PS3 only.
@ShankYouKindly Not to me, never been able to get into Halo and only liked the first GoW. But that is just my opinion anyway they both still sold millions and are both up for what, like at 5 for Gears and even if called Halo 5 its really like what, the 8th game or something?
Titanfall looks good but will be on PC so that only leaves Quantum Break on One that looks good to me. The PS4 has Deep Down that looks really good, and Infamous Second Son that appealed to me, and a few of the indie games. I am glad all the other games are multiplatform since those are the ones I really want anyway. I am Still getting a PS4 this gen since I have been wanting some of their exclusives for a while now, since I was gaming on the 360 I missed a few. I think I will like Uncharted, Last of Us, and Beyond Two Souls that all looks good and I'll be able to stream them to the PS4.
