Incorrect. I wasn't going to buy a game because it wasn't enhanced for PS4 Pro. I didn't spend a fortune (by my humble standards) on a new console and a 4K tv just so I can get the same quality as base PS4. It's a mute point now though because it is enhanced after all.
I love how it seems a vast majority of gamers have already given up on this game before it's even out! This is Bioware for God's sake, the company that has given us some of the greatest sci-fi games ever made over the last few decades. A company that has a relatively stellar record; Andromeda may be the only game where they really fell short, and even that wasn't a truly bad game.
They've given me years of entertainment and thought provoking narrative; I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt regardless of whether or not you agree with EA and their practices.
I have no idea why they lost faith though honestly. They had one badly received game (though I thought Andromeda was a good game just not great) and now everybody is acting like they pulled a Fallout 76 or something. They have given us some of the greatest RPGs of all time so why not give them the benefit of the doubt for now.
Discovered that yesterday but that still doesn't solve my tech problem. I don't see why I should have to farm for resources again and build the tech all over again when I spent so much time doing it the first time. The really irritating thing is that the new tech items are basically the same but the names have been changed; Hello Games could easily have replaced my old tech with the equivalent new tech.
I don't see why they couldn't have just switched my tech to the equivalent tech in this update. I'm done with the game after this which is unfortunate because I was really enjoying myself before the update.
