A Cure for Cancer!

I was typing some extra stuff on my blog header when I overheard the TV in the living romm saying in arabic: "A cure for cancer has been found by a 24 year old living in France.." I ran to the lving room and asked my parents to verify what i heard and they said, yes, looking just as stunned as me...A cure for cancer, well, it turns out, that this boy finished school from Lebanon and trying entering a university in Lebanon called the Lebanese University but was rejected, so he flew to Fance and entered the University of Paris...and voila! The cure, now it has to undergo 2 years of testing before it becomes useable, so hopefully it does work, if it does, this should help the whole world a great deal more, and also, help lebanon out of its misery seeing as lebanese 24 year old found this cure and deserves respect of it!

The Wii Friend Code Stroy: A Matter of Life and Death! (Issue 1)

Welcome, fellow readers,
This is the first issue of The Wii Friend Codes Story! In these Blog posts I will give you news about all the happenings on the problem of the Wii having friend codes for many reasons.
-----------
To begin, I was reading the Nintendo Wii Fanboy website when I came across this story: "Square Enix: friend codes kept FFXI from being on the Wii". Troubling, I know, but what is reassuring is that our faithful RPG company Squae Enix has decided to talk to Nintendo about the Wii Friend Code Dilemma. As we all recall, they were probably the most enthusiastic company about the Wii and being such, they decided to, obviously, develop games for the console. We already have yet another Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles coming to the Wii under the title Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles: The Chrystal Bearers, and such a thing is good. But the company is obviously not content with just one game coming in the future. They were considering developing a Wii version of their MMO themed Final Fantasy XI, alas, they could not accomplish an MMO with friend codes, whats an MMO when all you know playing is your friends or those random 100 people you added to your Wii Code List just to be able to use a few extra functions that are supposed to be there for any online system! Luckily, as previously stated, they will try talking some sense into Nintendo since they are now close to the company, and try implementing that game without Friend Codes, now isn't that a relief?
Also, on the Blog Site Go Nintendo, they had a number of companies stating that they were honestly let down and are finding hard to find reasons to develop games for the Wii by the fact that Nintendo isn't even telling them how to use the systems online service and that Nintendo was content with keeping the info of creating an online service for a game to itself! Unless they mean so for the time being because they want to be the first to launch an online game for their system, if they keep that attitude up, we will all be in a great load of trouble. Imagine, online games that are only first party!

Good Shooter control scheme for a serious Wii shooter

As we all know the nintendo wii has always had awesome crappy launch titles that are currently availabe are extremely
abusive of the controls and dissapoint all the wii owners and add doubt to the mind of the future buyer (such as myself) because of their... well, crapiness:) So today, I saw an interesting post in the forums and then this control scheme just hit me!
1.move with analogue move nunchuck left or right for corresponding dash
2.D-pad for changing guns to activate zoom, bring up wiimote to eye level hold
3.C to crouch pull nunchuck alone to jump so as not affect shooting...but wait, your right...both wiimote and nunchuck to jump...more realism
4.to open doors etc. do pulling motion with nunchuck like metroid and i guess red steel...
5.to activate melee mode, pretend the wiimote is a gun and make a "put in gun holder motion" then fists would come and thus making the nunchuck and wiimote fists, then do same motion to activate guns again
6.to hit with a gun, like you know, melee with a gun, you can like hold the A button or something then do a hitting motion with wiimote...

Hope y'all like it! Obviously it doesn't work for metroid and such, but you can see how it works for other types of games:wink:

The Portables I Own

These are all my current portable, including my Nokia 3250 mobile phone and my Creative Zen Micro, which i hate like death. Thats my retarded DS Lite where the upper screen is darker than the lower, and the ancient gameboy that we all remeber as the first portable ever. I used to have a gamboy colour but i gave it away and I also used to have a DS phat but i traded that in.

The Dark and Bright Side and The Big Circle Comparison

I have yet to buy a Wii but I'm currently considering a very important factor that will affect my decision:

The Bright Side (The DS Side)

As we all see now, the Wii doesn't have all that many good 3rd party games or even 3rd party support for that matter, now, the bright side would be that if the developers are considering this to be something new (like when DS came out).

What has DS got to do with this? Well for starters, DS was kind of a gimmick n the first few launch weeks with games that were extremely bad, but now, everyone, all developers support it fully due to it have sold over 10,000,000 units and games ranging from super hard to games even the extremely elderly will enjoy, heck, even EA took a shot at it and launched burnout on it!

My point now is if the Wii keeps this up we should be sure to see more 3rd party developers supporting the Wii other than Ubisoft

The Dark Side (The GameCube Side)

This system came out and and man did it go down the very, very wrong road. Now, when it came out, it had millions of AAA titles but there was one catch...They were all 1st party and everyone waited for a day when proper 3rd party support came in, but it just never came...And from that day, the day where we lost hope of 3rd party, the GameCube declined so fast it was scary, and we can't expect Nintendo to manage all the games for the console, so they also declined and around the year 2005, there was probably a number of games coming out that was so small I could count them on a single hand!

Now, if the Wii goes down this road we can all see where we're headed..

The Big Circle Comparison (The Xbox 360 Side)
Finally, this is the last possible road that is similar to what the Wii is currently experiencing. For those who don't get what I mean, I'm talking about, I'm saying when the Xbox 360 first came out, it had maybe one or 2 games worth considering, then the rest was just some lame last-gen ports with improved graphics and better online, LAME! But now, it's a developers dream to work on the system with over 10,000,000 units sold and loads of AAA games.
We can currently see that on the Wii, with games like Prince of Persia Rival Swords, Farcry, The Godfather, Scarface and a few others and then only 2 or 3 first party games REALLY worth considering.

 The Conclusion and General Wishes
Is that the Wii will go down The Bright Side or The Big Circle Similarity road, or heck, maybe even a combination of both.

Now it's really up to Nintendo which road to go by, apparently, they have chosen the right path, though, with games like the Godfather and Scarface being extremely Mature and showing up on the Wii which is where it went wrong last time, and also, they have to welcome developers by letting them do whatever they want and let it take any advantage the developers would want from the Wii just like the Xbox 360 and that will lead to success and I mean look at some killer titles on the DS, not all of them use the touch screen, yet they were awesome,
Please Nintendo, hear my plea and make
The Right Choice  , don't be dumb!
