no it's a flop because everybody hates it and its sales and popularity are joke compared to the PS2.
remember you're not everyone therefore your hate for it doesn't mean its majority. So you expected the ps3 to sell 100 million consoles its first few months? Remember the ps2 wasn't well recieved for a while either
