Sony as the company might be doing fine, but their gaming division isn't. Been bleeding money for the past 4 quarters, and I seriously doubt any forecasts they make will see it make money for the next year or two. There is a realistic chance that Sony ends up shutting down their gaming division, or ending up like Sega and going software only. They took a huge investment and gamble on the PS3 and it has not been paying off for them, at all.RahnAetas

this one year of loss compared to how many past years of gain, one bad year doesn't put a company out and next year will be much better . The gaming division can only be looked at as a success despite this one "bad" year

The PS2 is not in 100 million different homes

either way its in an assload of homes, more than the 360, ps3 and wii combined. You can throw the ds and psp in there too.

but if you look at game sales few ps2 games make it into the top 10 despite being some of the best titles the ps2 has to offer. The top 10 is almost dominated by Wii, 360, and DS games.

ps2 titles have been some of the highest grossing, the last major release was GOW2 and before that it was maybe final fantasy. 

It just struck me. If you wanna know the future of the ps3 look at the psp. If you wannna know the future of nintendo wii look and the ds. I say this because sony is using the same approach with the ps3 as they did with psp...u know, making it a media device not only a gaming device. On the other hand nintendo is going in the opposite direction focusing on gaming and innovation like it did with the ds.

So there are my two cents.........i feel bad for sony, they shoud have learned from the psp.

its probably the overlapping design, its not actually cluttered it just gives the feeling of it being.

its used in the psp and ps3 to organize pictures music games and so on and to answer your question, yes.
