I was loyal to nintendo but was turned around with the PS1, but still had a 64 and gcn. I chose to get a ps3 first but will soon get a wii and possibly a 360.
seriously, capcom should stop lying about exclusives, they did with RE 4 for Gamecube, I remember when the RE 4 creator said "if the game(RE 4) goes to PS2, he will remove his head" but what happened, it came to PS2, same with Devil May Cry 4 and now Lost Planet.

it'd be smart PS2 has the largest isntall base, and with all that talk about install base taht capcom has been spewing I wouldn't be surprised if it got released on a console that is in 100 million homes

Agreed, But I also think If we had to many consoles it would also lead to a crash in the industry, 3 is the magic number.

I agree. I'd be fine with Apple or MS joining in the handheld market though. 3 in there would be good.
a ms sony and nin face off in both the console and handheld world would be something else. I have high hopes for the next psp since sony launched that thing with little to no games like it did with the ps3. Lets hope they've learned from their mistakes and have some better games around launch. A MS handhled could be promising
