Yep, it's almost time for another monthly blog but some news before that :)

Last sunday I was fixing my car. I did have some problems with my back door and my trunk hatch (right word...?). Those two didn't open. I did have to rip everything off and check wires ect. I found two problems and I managed to fix my doors (cost: 51e). Today I did buy new brake bads and brake disks/plates and changed those... (cost 101e) and changed new windscreen wipers (cost 30e). I still have to make annual maintenance... I probably do that next month when I have my vacation :) so, fixing my car and new parts total cost was: 182 and time spend about: 6h

I've been playing Eternal sonata lately. I managed to beat one annoying boss some time ago and now I've been leveling up. My characters are 40-42lvl :) I'm probably going to get couple more levels before continuing...

I still haven't bought inFamous. mainly because I have put money on my car... I did also have to pay insurance again so that also did take my money... I will buy infamous maybe this weekend or beginning of the next week... I have so much things to do this weekend so I probably don't have time to play games :( My little brother is graduation from technical school so I have to go that party... i also have to go tomorrow morning to work to do couple things... Then me and my fiancee has to visit my fiancees parents... and couple other things. Today I met one of my friends which I haven't seen in 4 months. We are trying to see tomorrow evening and drink couple beers, koskenkorva ect :P He is also pretty busy but I hope we both have the time to see...

Today I noticed when I got home at work that there is infamous demo in the PSN! :) So downloaded it and played it. I'm pleased that game seems to bring lots of good things! Lighting power are lots of fun, helping/not helping the citicens of the city, how story is told, graphics and freeroaming is very well done!. Character feels litle bit... light. I don't know why, but I when playing the (played couple times trough) game all the time I did have this weird feeling that character is on ice. Maybe it's just me(?)

Game seems to be pretty difficult in some parts. Enemies are killed pretty easily but still I did find fighting against different kind of enemies pretty challenging (depending also the difficulty level). Demo showed how different you can be. Good or evil, that's your decision. If I can chooce I play good side mainly but I'm probably going to play game trough with evil side also (because of the trophy :P ) You can help people or take their life away.

Controls were easy to learn. After couple minutes I was jumping and doing different kind of attacks very easily! only little problem is the "ice " problem... Climbing on buildings is easy but it isn't made as good assassin's creed did it. Maybe in the final version of the game these things are changed...

But my final word is that game is amazing and will give people what they want! Demo impression 9/10.

I was wondering how much and what kind of games is coming out in the summer and which I should buy. Usually game companies don't release much games in the summer and when fall starts there is so many games so you don't have the money or time to play the games :P But let see what kind of games I'm waiting in the summer :)

Prototype

- I have watched some movies and read some news about this game I haven't been as much excited, like other gamers in the internet have been. GTA like free movement in huge city fighting against soldiers an mutants doesn't sound bad :P:D I'm just more interested on inFamous (check below)

Batman: Arkham Asylum

- Maybe only batman game which I have been ever interested! There haven't been many batman games but this seems to bring great stealth/action game to our hands. Game looks great and taking enemies out with batmans "tools" seems interesting so I hope everything goes well!

Ghostbusters: The Video Game

- First when I heard about this game I was very sceptical! But my first impression was wrong (at the moment...). I have watched gameplay videos and have read some things about game and it seems that developers are bringing us great ghostbusters game! game looks great, chacing ghost and trapping them with your beam sounds and looks lots of fun! I have very high hopes for this game!

- I played the demo and it was lots of fun. Controlls were very... arcade like and felt little bit awkward at first but I did get used to controllers. game looks very good, nothging jaw dropping but very good looking. It's fun to destroy buildings and it is lots of fun to take big "mech" and just make cars fly :P I'm probably going to wait for the price go down little bit before I buy this.

Infamous

- Probably most anticipated game of the summer. Freeroaming, electrical super powers, good and evil choices and 15-25hours gameplay sounds great! I'm pretty sure that I'm going to enjoy this game very much! First reviews are out and metacritic points are 87 points at the moment :)

Fight night round 4

- Fight Night Round 3 is pretty much only boxing game that I have liked. I have played it a lot! And with friend this game is much much better! I was waiting Fight Night Round 4 very long time. I'm suprised that the game is released now. I don't say that it's a bad thing but don't we all want new games right now? :P Game looks great and it seems that developers have been doing some good things with how you controll the character and how character moves. I have very high hopes for this game!

Other:

I've continued my journey on the eternal sonata and after playing it 3h and because of hunger I did have to stop for a while :P I did have problems with one boss fight and I did have to level up for couple hours but finally I did beat the boss and very easily in the end :P I think that it's good that there is good amount of characters to choose but I prefer couple main characters which you lvl up. This have 8(...) characters to choose. Story is going so that you have to use at least 6 characters but somehow I find it little bit annoying... oh well... game is great and I like it otherwise so that is very small "problem" if you wanna call it like that...

I also have couple new games. One I did get free from USA PSN Store (Rag doll kungfu or something) and other is splinter cell: double agent. I have played only little bit both but double agent seems to be good stealth game. I have had problems with controls but after couple first levels I'm pretty much used to those now.

At first I did saw some commercials about X-Men Origins: Wolverine and I thought: "Another bad movie based game" but then I saw some gameplay videos and more I saw, more I wanted to buy this game. And I was very pleasantly surprised! This game rocks! :P:D Yes it doesn't bring anything new or special to the genre, graphics are ok, there are some slowdowns when there is much going on in the screen, couple bugs but don't let that fool you! Game is action packed non stop violent, gore, blood spilling action game! and you are Wolverine! :D But I'm pretty sure that if you aren't big fan of Wolverine or x-men, then don't buy this game!

Game is about 8-10hours long... depending on difficulty level... I have almost played this one couple times trough and I have about 65% of the trophies (about 5 trophies missing) Game has small amount of rpg elements. You collect xp, gain levels and upgrade your characters abilities. There isn't much things to upgrade but you will spend some time to get all things to max. I have still four final level mutagen upgrades to get and 2 skills to upgrade.

Like I did write, game has some bugs and slow downs. Bugs aren't anything big or annoying... okay I did have one big bug and because of that I did have to start one boss fight all over again :( Slowdowns are littlebit annoying, because when there is lots of things going on (lots of enemies, smoke ect) you will get hit by enemy. I didn't suffer extra deaths or anything like that but it's annoying... Loading times are okay, couple seconds less could have been better...

So game has it's bad things but it's great action game! If you are Wolverine fan or x-men fan, you will like this game. Others... there is something else...

I got my 3rd platinum now on x-men origins: Wolverine ! :) Damn that final boss fight on hard difficulty was so annoying!! But yay me! :D

Yep soon it's time for monthly blog again but still there is one more blog post. well... what I have been doing? I'be been pretty tired and I have been nauseated for couple days now... I'm not sure why... I've tried to eat, rest, drink and get some fresh air. Nothing! One night I only slept about 3hours... My body isn't feeling fine at all!

Friday I did get last trophies in Noby Noby boy but after that I haven't played anything. It's because this nauseated feeling... I've been planning for summer activities... it's about 2 months before my summer vacation starts but I want to know some things what I want to do so I can save up some money. I'm going to do 2 roadtrips. First is with my fiancee, location is still not sure. Other trip I'm going to do alone. I have to plan some places where to visit... I should visit in north where my friends live and my relatives, but I think I'm going to skip that... so where I should visit... More about this later.

May Day is coming and we are going to spend it with our friends. Grill food, drink and playing games? No I think so. Our friends (actually my fiances friends) don't play games. Yep, boring people :P I try to get some of my friends to come.

I have to do some last preparings for the montly blog and then this month is pretty much in the end. Here is new gameplay trailer at Mafia 2! I really did like first Mafia game!!! Graphics, story, enviroment, characters, sound all was very well done! I have good feeling that Mafia 2 is going to be good game. As good as first one? Still not sure, but I'm pretty sure that worth getting! Godfather 2 isn't interesting me at all, I played first one littlebit but naah. I hope they release Mafia 2 soon! :)

I got my first platinum trophy!!!! :D:D:D:D Game is: "Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection"

Collecting all the trophys didn't take me much time which was suprise for me. Longest it took me to take final gold trophy which did mean that you did have to get the trophy: (Yatta!, Gold) which did mean that I did have to beat game: Dr Robotnik's M.B.Mn which was very hard thing to do!

UPDATE:

I got my SECOND platinum trophy also today!!!!!! :D Game is: Resident Evil 5 (PS3) This is my lucky Day! :D I played rest of the game alone. Levels 1-3 I played co-op with NuKku. Most annoying part of the game in the professional difficulty is boss fight in the end of level 5-3! I died 59 times!!! :P But finally I did beat them and yay I have my second platinum trophy! 2 PLATINUM TROPHYS IN ONE DAY! :D

I have many many times tried to do proper blog banner but lack of skill is just too big! So I'm asking if someone wants to spend some time and make me one? :) Banner should be about games, game characters ect. Good characters which you can use: Snake, Nariko, KZ2 enemy trooper (Assault or Radec), Faith (mirror's edge), sackboy, Ratchet & Clank, and many many more!

So... what I have been doing? Well weekend went really fast! I managed to take care of the backyard. It took me about 3-4hours but now it is in good condition :) We visited our friends, their son had 4yo birthday and helped our other friends to move to new apartment. Now that we have own yard, I bought new grill! so grill season has officially started! :P



I haven't played very much but my hunt for my first platinum trophy is still continuing. There is 2 games which are almost completed! First is: Resident Evil 5. Only multiplayer trophys and I have to finish one singleplayer trophy: Professional difficulty. Other is Sega mega drive ultimate collection. There is only 3 trophys only to get but one is particulary hard! (Yatta! (Gold): Dr. Robotnik's M.B.M.: Complete the game). Especially difficulty this game makes that I'm color blind, but luckily "blocks" are different kind of shape! But still... other missing trophys in this game are: Flicky to the Rescue (Bronze): Sonic 3D Blast: Rescue 20 Flickies and Super Charged (Silver): VectorMan: Collect 500 photons. So I almost have my first platinum! :P (I hope!)

I also started to play KZ2 again :P I'm about half-way trough again... I'm just playing normal difficulty this time. Getting trophies and just having fun. Oh and I need some training to play hardest difficulty :P So I'm about half-way trough and I have pretty much used only knife :P Soon I have to use weapons... maybe :P

I did make mistake when watching keroro gunso (anime). so I continued watching Keroro Gunso and I'm pretty happy because I like this serie :) I have so many animes unfinished! So much things to do but time is against me :( I also went shopping couple days ago and bought 3 studio Ghibli anime movies: Nausicaä, tales from earthsea and I can hear the sea. Nausicaä was amazing! story, characters, world and music are well done! I highly recommend this movie! Tales from earthsea is okay movie. I have read ursula lequin's books and I did like those stories. But feeling after the movie was... "Is this everyting?" Story was okay, characters were interesting and music was okay too, but you should read the books and then watch the anime! I still haven't watched third movie. Probably most wanted studio Ghibli movie which I want on DVD (or blu-ray(not going to happen!(?))) is Laputa: Castle on the sky. other is princess mononoke. I just have wait...

Hello all! :)

In my previous post I did write that I'm going to play games because I have so much free time, and I have done so! :D First I continued playing RE5 alone and collected almost all singleplayer trophys. Only now left is getting trophy on promode (+platinum). Then with NuKku we played RE5 on Professional almost end of the 3 chapter. Saturday I tested some of the Sega mega drive ultimate collection games; Sonic 1,2, Streets of rage, shinobi III and Phantasy Star II, III, IV. Well... I'm now hooked on phantasy star II! Yes it's an old game but still very interesting and addictive. Shinobi III is also very good! Old memories come back when I played those old sonic games :) My childhood friend did have megadrive...

Today I started playing Valkyria Chronicles and well... I'm hooked :P (again) I played the demo last year and it was great (If I remember correctly I did put in my monthly blog... (Suprise game of the month)). I played about 3 hours at first and then My soon to be wife wanted some attention so I did have to leave gaming aside for a while... But after a while I got back to playing Valkyria and... I love this game!!! It has very(!) good graphics (Very artistic), sound world is great + this game has japan voice acting!!! Fighting is done very well and you really have to think what to do. One bad thing there is... it seems that I have to put other games on hold because of this :P (I will still play RE5 with you NuKku! :) Maybe we play tomorrow?) So, there is couple great games which takes my time. Luckily there isn't any big games coming! :P

All my weekend hasn't gone with gaming, I also changed new tires on my car, fixed yard fence and went for a drive with my fiancee. Tomorrow I have to do some more things; maintain our bikes and garden furniture. Then Tuesday work starts again... It will be tough couple days but then everything should be much easier at work (I really hope so!!!) I finished Keroro Gunso (recommended by: HavQ-san) and I would give it 8.8. I recommend this serie for everyone :) I also started new serie but I don't remember the name... It's action, mecha, scifi anime, oh and girls fights with miniskirts/bikinis :P :lol:
