I can't take this! I got my new PS3 BUT it seems that my old hdd isn't working. So good buy everything. I have some save files on my usb memory stick but example "Demon's Souls" saves you can't copy so I lost all the work I put on that game. And that game is HARD! So... I bought new hdd 500gig..

I'm so... there is no words!

I can't believe this! my laptop fried today! :( (I'm writing this on my wife's laptop) First my PS3 and then this... I tried everything but nothing. My laptop is already 3+ years old so I won't fix it. I ordered new laptop. (in 1 month I have spent so much money...! sigh... ) My new laptop is very normal(HP pavilion, On sale 17,3" LED screen, windows 7 (64bit), 2 core 2,2ghz processor, 4GT RAM, 320gig hdd, ATI HD5470 512MT ect)

It's just that all my important backup files were on my flashdrive BUT my dog destroyed that flashdrive couple weeks ago... So I lost all that information. All this is just piece of tech which I can buy at the store so it won't ruin my world. This all just means that I have to spend lots of money.

My PS3 died today :( Blinking red light... won't start, won't do anything... I have tried couple things but nothing... and warranty is wayyy over. So I have to go shopping... Luckily I can get my 320gig harddrive and put it on the new ps3...

This blog is just random talk so if I change subject suddenly just keep reading :P (Blog won't be too long)

It's year 2011 and we have much gaming to do this year ;) :P Especially I have LOTS of gaming to do. I haven't counted how many games is unfinished but it's probably much more than couple months ago. In 3 months I managed to finish about 11-14 games but it seems that that it isn't enough :P At the moment my main effort is going to castlevania: Lords of shadow and DC Universe Online Beta (both PS3). Castlevania is good game but it's very frustrating. Controls and camera are main reasons for this. I would have finished this game already if everything would be ok...

But back to my main point. (or is there main point...?) oh well... so pretty much everyone who reads my blog like's playing games, collecting them and are interested about in general on gaming. I have said this many times but I have been playing games since I was about 5+ years old, I love gamingand my taste has been always wide and it's still is.But I'm getting older and I want more from games I play. I have noticed that story and well thought characters are getting more and more important. Unfortunately these kind of games are very rare. Yes I'm small graphic maniac but these days I need more. Luckily there is some games that can bring us good graphics, story and characters. Good example is "Heavy Rain" and "Mass effect 2" is also good choice. You can disagree if you want...

2011 Will bring my life much more than year 2010 which was also life changing. Marriage and new house... but 2011 will bring me probably best thing in my life... my first born child. Everything has gone well at this point and I hope everything is going in the future.

oh and here is my unborn child :)




What are you expecting from 2011? Games or otherwise... Oh and I'm probably going to some friend list cleaning so new comers who don't post ect are out. if you want to stay on my friend list post something on my blog. (some won't be kicked even if you don't post anything)

Today I received my new Tritton headphones and this thing is amazing! I have to test more but first impression is very positive! oh and I bought new car! I ordered it at the factory so it will take couple months to arrive... my new car is: Hyundai i30CW (with all the goodies ;) ) It was on special sale on this week. and I do need bigger car because the baby and the dogs. So... yay! :P:D

Hello everyone! :) Christmas is over and it's almost back to normal (well, christmas was nothing special to me...). As you know I bought PSP Go sometime ago and I mentioned that I will write somekind of blog about it, so here it is :)

PSP GO



Hardware

PSP Go is light and fits to my pockets very well. Screen is smaller than PSP3000 or earlier ones but I don't mind because otherwise the quality of the screen is very good. With PSP1000 I did have problems with button locations and how you hold the device. My hands would cramp if I did play too long. I have same kind of problem with PSP Go, it's not as bad but it's there.
I like how the buttons are behind the screen, and because of this device can be smaller. Everything is littlebit like Nintendo DS but DS does everything better and other plus side at the DS is that it's screen can be adjusted to different angles.
PSP Go has 16Gt internal memory and I think it's pretty good size but of course 32Gt would have been better because you have to download every game on the internal memory or memory card. But if 16Gt is enough then just buy memory card. Because of the internal memory there is no UMD drive. Because there is no UMD drive, PSP Go is smaller and quieter than previous ones.


Games

No UMD drive means that you have to download your games at the PSN Store. This can be good or bad thing. I checked pricing of the PSN store and I compared those prices to couple shops prices. I didn't check any US stores so I can't say how much games are in the US but here in Finland and England prices at the shops were about 2 euros higher than PSN stores prices. So littlebit cheaper games :)
I did receive 10 (downloaded 9) games with my PSP Go. And I did have couple PSOne games that I can play on my PSP Go. (FF games and couple others) GTA, LBP, Motorstorm and God of war can show what PSP is capable of. I did notice some slowing down when I played God of war but maybe it's because that I tested only Demo version...(?) Controlls at the games were good (which I tested) but because of the desing of the buttons and locations my hands started to cramp after a while.

So there is flaws at the PSP Go but it's good console. Nintendo DS is better but I didn't want to buy my 3rd DS (I'm waiting 3DS to be released) I'm still not sure if I'm gonna buy 3DS at the launch day because I have my PSP Go to keep me company :P I want to know price and the day 1 games...

Tritton AX Pro Dolby 5.1 Gaming headset



I ordered gaming headphones to my PS3/x360: "Tritton AX Pro Dolby 5.1 Gaming Headset". Reviews have been great and I have very high hopes about these headphones. Price was 169e by the way...! (pricing went 169->250euros) There is couple things why I did buy these headphones: 1. My elderly neighbours has been complaining about my gaming noices (I don't know how because my sound levels are pretty low and very rarely play after 20.00) and 2nd reason is that my wife can listen music or watch movies/other things while I play games. Well see... I don't plan going all headphones gaming but it's interesting to see how this 5.1 headphones work. I try to write somekind of review about my new headphones :)
