A professional Game site has said that Uncharted has the best Graphics on consoles easily. You lemmings are hanging onto Gears like it's the best looking thing ever. Gears looks good, but no where as good as Uncharted. I have gears on the PC (running the game at 1680x1050 maxed out everything thanks to my 8800GT), and I would still give it to Uncharted as far as details and graphics, so Lemmings please come up with a better argument than gears, it's been getting seriously boring with these pathetic arguments. Open your eyes and take those fanboy glasses off.

You think optical is good enough?

Optical only carries the sound not the video images, so you need some way of carrying the video as well as the sound. HDMI carries both to the TV. If your system has HDMI input, that's the way to do this.

does your system have HDMI input?? If it doesn't then I don't know what the best way to do this. Does your TV have a DVI input? if it does, you could connect the sound inPS3 to the surround system using Optical then HDMI to the TV to carry thesound and then you have to get an HDMI-to-DVI(they're cheap on Ebay) cable and connect your PS3 to your TV for Video. I don't see any other way of doing this. You woud save yourself so much if your system has and HDMI input.

WarHawk will not bore you at all. It's awesome and addicting. I played it for a while, and now I am like you playing COD4 online. WarHawk isn't necessarly as tactical as COD4, but it's more fun IMO, plus it's only 40$, so to answer your question, no you will not be bored with WarHawk.

Every PS3 owner should get Uncharted IMO. That game sets new standards for gaming. You should definitely consider it. I have just beat the game this past weekend on Normal and it took me around 11 hours.
