Hey everyone! This is my new weekly blog, The Week Ahead, where I talk about what's planned for my videos during the week and fill you in on what's going on today in my life.

Not much good news to report today. I'm sick as balls. I've been sick all week and I've been feeling horrible. I'm a little bit better from Wednesday, when it was really bad, but I'm still a bit under-the-weather. I did, however, get NBA Street: Homecourt, and Crackdown during the week which, besides the medicine I'm taking, made me feel better. At least I had something to do while I was coughing up my lungs.

Another aphrodisiac was the fact that my new movie, Jerks of War II: Insane was featured, and better yet, it's been the FRESH VIDEO OF THE DAY here on Gamespot for 3 days now. THANK YOU SO MUCH GAMESPOT!!! I'm very pleased with the fact that this movie got the attention I hoped it would get over a month, in three days so far. I lost a lot of sleep over that movie, but probably not as much as I will be losing when Jerks of War 3 goes into post-production. Yeesh. Anyway, an announcement about the Jerks of War series; JOW 3 will be the LAST installment of Jerks of War. It won't be the last film from Bojangler productions though, as we plan to make many more short films. A special thank you to everyone who supported Jerks of War 1 & 2. I really appreciate all of the feedback and well wishes. Thanks again!

It's 11:56 P.M. I hope I finish this blog on time. =)

Anyway today didn't go so well for me. I went to musical rehersal and did nothing because my ditsy director changed the schedule so that all we did was dance numbers and guess what? I'm not in any of them! So beside the times we snuck out to go to Dunkin' Donuts and later Burger King, my day sucked.

After practice I went to Best Buy to get NBA Street: Homecourt but it comes out tomorrow! Balls. So I picked up a 25 dollar system selector for HD cables as well as regular video cables. And people at both Best Buy and Radio Shack said they had come out with one yet.

F***, 12:00, It's Wednesday.

Anyway the whole day I had terrible sinus pressure and felt horrible. I went right to sleep when I got home and woke up about 3 hours ago. I feel horrible, and I have rehersal again tomorrow at 9:00 in the AM. So that was my day.

2/23/07!!!

Sorry about saying that JOW II was coming out on the 28th. It's coming out a week from now. I'm so excited!!!

So, tonight, I finally finished the full, rough cut of Jerks of War II: Insane. The opening credits are complete as well as most of the sound effects. It's really good now, but a little fine tuning is in order as is the reason I won't be putting it up until next week.

Also, I am happy to announce that, with the help of my friend, a Jerks of War III script is one the way! We're going to work on a script for the final chapter in the Jerks of War Trilogy.

So, besides all of the agony, all of the blood, sweat and tears that went into this movie, it was really fun to edit. Thanks to everyone who wnjoyed the first one. I hope I don't dissapoint with JOW II.

It's just now 4:00 in the A.M.

Today was an exciting day. After putting up a trailer just two days ago, I have almost finished a rough cut of Jerks of War II: Insane.


On Tues. I quickly captured a little footage to use for the teaser and cut it together quickly. It turned out alright. After that, I got really pumped and started capturing and editing a little bit of the movie.

We shot the movie a while ago, like in mid-January. Usually the day after shooting I would start editing, like I did with Jerks of War: Pillow Fight, but I was so tired and sick of the material I didn't want any part of editing right away. Plus my friend from Las Vegas was sending me Adobe Primiere Pro. I wanted to edit this film in something better than Windows Movie Maker.

So about a week later the software arives from Vegas and I'm super-stoked. Once it's all installed I go right for my camera. I try to capture video to Adobe and it couldn't detect my camera.

After a few days of trying, I realize that Adobe needs a Fireware hook-up (a special wire for digital video capturing) and my cpu doesn't have a Firewire port, nor do I have a Firewire. And to boot, my cpu case isn't even big enough to upgade! Pain in my balls!!!

After sulking around for another few days I finally realize that JOW II is going to be edited in Movie Maker. So I accept it, and, almost a month after shooting rapped, I started editing my baby.

Yesterday, Valentine's Day, I edited almost the whole movie. I finished capturing almost an hour and a half of footage and started chopping away to get around 9 minutes of a rough cut of JOW II. The only thing I didn't finish was the ending. And as far as rough cuts go, this is one SMOOTH rough cut.

And later today I'll hopefully finish up my precious JOW II and then, next week, I'll put the finishing touches on it for it's release. I hope everyone who enjoyed the first one, (and those who didn't) will enjoy this fantastic short movie. It's shaping up to be a really fun little film.

Hey everyone. It seems by blogs have reached an all time low. My newest blog hasn't even reached 50 views. It seems the "Mr. Bojangles" fad is ending. I know I have a few established viewers, but it just doesn't seem worth the time to create the somewhat high caliber blogs I produce. I try really hard to entertain in my blogs and it seems that it's not drawing enough attention. I don't film and edit and put time into something just for myself.

But, with all of the upcoming games being released at the end of February and the beginning of March there will be plenty to talk about. Crackdown, NBA Street: Homecourt, God of War II, MLB '07: The Show, MLB 2K7 and GRAW 2, are all games I plan on getting. That's a lot of money, and a lot of fun.

Also, Jerks of War II is due out on Feb. 28th so hopefully that high caliber short film (hehe) will spark some buzz about my V-Blogs.

If you have any ideas, comments, or suggestions about what goes in, or should go in my V-Blogs, please leave me a comment here. I will read them and take into account what my viewers want. DVD's of Bojangles Season 1 are slated for a Spring '07 release and the few fans I have can enjoy those for free.

So, aside from my so called "real" life, I have a lot planned. I hope taking a hiatus will re-energize my creative-ness so I can deliver a fresh, hilarious and thought provoking Mr. Bojangles: Season 2.
