Really? THAT insulted you?Me telling you that your concerns were groundless?

As I was saying, this argument is pretty much irrelevant if you aren't that interested in GBA games in the first place. But if all that's holding you back is a fear of losing your game after a year or two, then just erase that thought from your mind, because Gameboy Advance cartridges (the official ones, at any rate) don't use battery saves. Sorry if the truth is insulting, but you're worrying about nothing.

:)

Good luck - I had to search for months before it even popped up on Ebay. Fortunately, it's not one that is terribly expensive (which is more than I can say for the Mega Man Gameboy games!)

Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword is *kind* of a beat-em-up.

At the very least, it's one of the best (or THE best, in my opinion) action game on the DS

Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure.

This game got so much press on gaming sites (or at least from my perspective) that I thought for sure that more people would know about it. And yet I walked into Game Crazy the other day and neither the MANAGER or the two employees he had with him had heard of it. After I told them about it, they found ONE COPY hidden behind the counter and put it up on the shelf.

I agree with all of the above games, and I would like to contribute the original Gameboy version of Bionic Commando (not Elite Forces for the GBC).

Now you're set!Yameneko549

Bionic Commando came out for the GB? Sweet! Wait, what's wrong with Elite Forces?

Eh, I don't think there's anything "wrong" with it, per se. As I recall, Nintendo actually made Elite Forces themselves rather than Capcom (don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty sure), so it doesn't really have the same feel.

More than anything else, the GB remake of Bionic Commando was just soawesome that it actually trumps the NES version IMO.

And even then, you can replace the battery yourself. So there's no reason for anyone to be biting their nails and wringing their hands about the lifespan of GBA carts

At this point, I have decided to give up on the gba, but the problem with replacing batteries is I don't know how to do it. I don't want to buy a cart and possibly screw up when trying to replace the battery.

Well, what I'm saying is that you'll probably never have to. Avoid GBA carts if that's what you want, but your concerns are pretty groundless. :)

No argument there. Donkey Kong countryin particular seems to be a popular dumping ground lately, with critics decimating the then-cutting edge graphics and art style. I think DKC still look great, and there's no denything that games like Banjo Kazooie, Conker, and Goldeneye were some of the best-looking games on the '64.

Mymain problem with Rare is that they haven't made anything particularly original since the NES days (with the exception of Blast Corps, probably).
