Well, there are really only two *real* Mario games on the DS, and one is basically a port of an existing game . . . so I'm gonna go with New Super Mario Bros.
Yeah... you could smell the steam off that pile awhile ago. The multiplayer gameplay footage they released over a year ago looked absolutely awful. I'm pretty convinced that anyone who posts that they are anticipating that game are being paid to do so.

LOL, you're right. The main reason that I'm "anticipating" it is because it keeps getting pushed back! I remember seeing the previews and thinking that it wasn't even going to be as good as Moon and Metroid Prime Hunters, but still curious to read the reviews to see how right I was. The original release date was what? Back in March or April? Every time it gets delayed another month, I get more and more curious to see how well this game will be reviewed!
Or, to put it another way, "What game genre do you play most on the DS?"
I have more strategy games than anything else in my collection, but if you were to ask me on the street what games I preferred, I'd say action/adventure/platformers. Unfortunately, the DS library's selection of action games isn't quite as strong as itis for other genres, which is why the way my game collection is structured one would probably guys that I mainly like tactical/strategy games.
Sub-question: Which genre do you think deserves more attention from developers?
Wow, that's a pretty neat detail to throw into the game, actually. I would have continued playing as long as possible to see how far I could get. Agro is used in a critical cutscene towards the end of the game, so I would have been interested to see how it would have been addressed.
Played that game, enjoyed it, but it was too short. But yeah, it's similar to GoW.
Way too short for how much fun it was!
I've been combing through the existing library of DS games hoping to find something similar, but I've come to the same conclusions as everyone else here: 3D brawlers like God of War are a dime a dozen on current and last gen consoles, but Ninja Gaiden is, for now at least, one of a kind on the DS.
