I run it maxed out on a single core A64 3800 @ 3Ghz, 1 gig ram, 7900gt. I never have frame rate problems in the demo.

Im not holding my breath on this one. I don't think that is 100% accurate. If it is, good thing for console owners.Wasdie

I remeber some guy that worked for ID saying in an interview last year that it would be coming to the 360 at some point, but i never heard anything about a ps3 version.

Because imo it has more appealing games then its competitors. I have no use for blu ray so paying £120 more for a console with no games that appeal to me would be a dumb move.

[QUOTE="jrhawk42"]Fable is a casual RPG.

that means hard-core rpg fans are going to be disappointed, but sales are going to be very high.  I really don't expect much difference from Fable 2.
Spartan070
How is it casual?

From what I remember it didn’t have much depth to it. It played more like Zelda than a traditional RPG to me. I enjoyed it while it lasted though.

[QUOTE="magrappy"]Ive played it a lot but can't see the good points, the whole thing feels old. They took an engine from someone else and added the normal clear move on shooter system and a repetitive online shooter like every other fps on the xbox 360. Nothing stands out as an achievement other then graphics and that wasn't them, the level design was dull and repetitive, and the few enemies and weapons was weak from a huge next gen title, and why was there more bosses in cut scenes then actual game play.

Nagidar

 Correct me if I'm wrong here, but didn't Epic create UE3.0? If so, how did they use someone elses engine?

Epic stole the engine from another company called Epic, true stroy.

[QUOTE="jd7-03"][QUOTE="-Spock-"]Fantastic news! I've been looking forward to this game and have been hoping for a Live 360 version, maybe even PC vs. 360 play a la Shadow Run and Team Fortress 2. This means I may not even need to bother upgrading my PC...TheCrazed420
If there's a mode that allows PC vs 360 players the PC players will win every time.

Not necessarily. They have been doing beta tests with Shadowrun on PC and 360, and the console players we're owning the PC players. The devs have to put a handicap for people who use controllers, so they compensate by making the aim reticule larger, throw in a bit of autoaim as well probably. If it was a 1:1 ratio between KB/M and controllers, it would be no fun.

Thats cool but i was around for the DC/ PC versions of quake 3, so i dont belive em they need more people.

[QUOTE="Mrkebab"][QUOTE="Private_Vegas"]

I'm not a big fan of Quake. Now if you had told me something like....... Gears...of War... Wars, was headed for the console market then you'd see some hardcore limb flailing.

Nemme

The game doesnt play like quake, its just set in the quake universe. Its much more comparable to ET, DoD, and the BF series.

So there's actually a strategy element to it instead of run, strafe, jump and shoot?

Yes check some of the videos here. http://www.enemyterritory.com/main.html
